Water broke!!

Guys my water just broke and I’m wondering how I should go about feeling baby’s movements?? I was gonna go to sleep and realised my water broke and haven’t felt baby move since (maybe 1 hour) how normal or abnormal is it? Called the hospital and they told me to try and sleep and come in the morning to get checked if nothing has happened until then

Exciting - do all the things you would normally do if you havnt felt baby move in a while poke your belly, wiggle about, if not I would tell triage you wanna come in to get check

Your baby’s movements should not change during labor! They could just be sleeping if it’s only been an hour but definitely keep an eye on it and if not go to triage 100% xx

Whenever my baby goes a bit quiet I have an ice lolly 😂 anything sugary or cold makes them move around a bit, so try have some orange juice or a cold drink and lie down on your left side and give your belly a little poke around. My midwife told me it can be normal for them to not move as much for 90 minutes due to sleeping patterns but any longer than that it’s advised to get checked out. Good luck!!! I’m 36 weeks and it’s killing me reading these posts of people going into labour 😂😂😂😂😂 I’m so uncomfortable I can’t wait to get him out 😂😂😂

Advice

Posting as incognito because I feel ashamed of how I’m feeling. I’m 34+1, I realise I have a while to go but just in floods of tears almost every day because I feel so sore and heavy and like I can’t do anything. I feel like my legs and hips are going to pop out their sockets when I walk and like I’ve been weight training every single day. I don’t know what to do anymore I’ve just sat and cried all evening because I don’t want to do it any longer. Is there anything to help with pain and discomfort or is there any medical reason I’m like this. I was having bad period type cramps all day yesterday but haven’t had anything today other than feeling I can’t even stand up without feeling like my whole body hurts. Is there anything doctors/ consultants/ midwives can do.

Alone overnight after csection

I'd like to hear from people that have done this and how support was from the hospital. I imagine it would vary by hospital though
Unfortunately, we do not have childcare for that period, so hubby has to stay with toddler.
Surgery also in the afternoon

PPROM at 35 weeks

So my due date was 28th September but it turns out my body had other ideas 🙈 on Thursday at 35 weeks 3 days my waters broke spontaneously 🙈 currently in hospital being monitored for the last couple of days but no sign of labour as of yet 🤞🏼 so it looks like I’ll be going home and will be closely monitored and the plan is to induce me at 37 weeks due to high risk factors of infection… please wish us some luck 🥰🤞🏼 we are very nervous!

Real Life Hospital Bag Needs

Hey lovely moms! I’m 36 weeks now and I’m trying to get everything together 😂

What is ACTUALLY needed in the hospital bag? I’m sick of seeing all the social media influencers and what they bring.

I imagine clothes for a few days, unsure if i bring pads and such? Also, I plan on exclusively pumping so do I bring my breast pump with me? I see some people do, and some people don’t.

Any advice helps, thank you ♡
