she just expects him to go out of his way to pick up her acquaintances car after they get pulled over, or wants him to teach her to drive or pick up her medicine (she is pregnant and her husband goes with her) l

My brothers in law have called me for favors. My brothers have called my husband for favors. I dont think its disrespectful. Youre family at the end of the day. Not by blood but still

Wouldn’t be weird to me. We all collectively help each other.

I doubt think it's disrespectful or weird. Yes it's a lot of bothersome but. Have you spoken to them

I don’t think it’s weird or disrespectful as it should go both ways and your oh can always say no or have boundaries in place. I’ve asked my brother to drop me off at the train station or we’ve had my bil help us move.

Isn’t that just a normal sibling relationship? His sister, your sister in law, wants her brother to teach her to drive and help her with tasks? I don’t think our sibling relationships have to completely change as we age. If her partner is useless with those sorts of things or can’t drive, it makes sense to ask your brother.
I’ve picked my brother in law up and taken my sister in law to the doctors when home. That’s just normal family stuff.

The teaching to drive and asking for help with medication I don’t believe is disrespectful especially with her being pregnant.
Those are two very important things because:
1. Medication is given for a reason
2. Life will be easier for her being a mom if she knows how to drive and gets a car.
The picking up the acquaintances car is a little weird but that can just be me and I honestly don’t have enough information on that situation.
Like if they’re in danger and they truly have nobody to get them then yes ask. But did the acquaintance try to get a ride on their side as well?
I was going to say just remind them that you’re willing to help, but I’m seeing in the comments you already do so. I’m sorry that this is happening :(
I’m in a new state with no friends or family so I get that aspect.
But my boyfriends sister in law and brother ask me for help when they need it if I’m around.
How long have you been with your husband?
I need advice/ help my 20month old is pulling his private parts out and playing with it. I’m in limbo on what to do here.

I got back last night from a little weekend getaway, it’s the longest I’ve ever been away from my kids. Friday-Monday. Anyways, my mil begged to keep the kids and I let her for 3 of the days, but when I got home my oldest told me they watched tv the whole time.. and ate a ton of junk food, like I kept asking well okay what did you do besides watch tv and they just kept saying nothing 🫠 on top of that my 5 year olds curly hair was matted. And I’m just so.. ugh I’m just so annoyed. I also had a plan for the kids so they didn’t have to go over there, I only let them because she asked, but if you’re a grandparent you shouldn’t insist on keeping the kids if you’re going to do jack sh*t the whole time. It sucks that I feel like I can’t trust any of my kids grandparents to actually care for them responsibly. My oldest said that she brushed my youngests teeth “because Mimi didn’t do it”🫠 never again

Ive only got one child (24 months) and my partner and I pretty much never get to watch or do anything we like. He is a very intense child...he also will not go to sleep before 9 so we either have to stay up really late to do any of our stuff (as my partner does) or just clean up, shower, and bed (like me...i need sleep way more then him)
We have toddler cartoons on like teletubbies sometimes at home but he loses his shit if we try and put on our TV or regular channels. He will go and get the remote and shove it at us and cry until we put his stuff on...
I feel he's ruling the roost a bit now....because I have pretty low tolerance for constant moaning and crying and struggle to constantly come up with new activities that he won't break or make a total mess with

I'm on the verge of tears, I feel like I'm going insane.
She says she's hungry, I get her food she doesn't want it, I make something else, she doesn't want it. Is been a recurring cycle all day.
I have followed the advice to give her soft bland foods and cool food but I don't know what to do anymore... I've tried porridge, mash potato, eggs, ice pop, yoghurt, mashed banana, scrambled eggs.
Then she screams and cries for icecream.
I have given her medicine to help.
Please any advice would be appreciated if you have been through this. Please share good recommendation.

My husband and I got married last November. I recently discovered that he has a porn addiction, and he admitted to it himself. While I understand many men are addicted to this, he took it a step further and has been sexting other women for the past two years.
I told him I feel like our marriage is a lie and we should never have went through with the wedding, had I known I wasn’t the only female he had eyes for.
We’re both in therapy now and I’m trying my best to trust him again, but it’s so hard. We have a four month old boy and he is the love of my life. I just want us to be a happy family, but this feels like something I can’t get past.
