Idk, see if it continues and let your OB know at your 6 week appointment. It could be your period. I’m one of the unlucky breastfeeding moms that always gets my period back after only a month pp. it’s a curse I tell ya
I got my first period 6 weeks PP after a c section, and I bled for almost 7 weeks! (Ruined my first holiday with my baby)
It can be normal if give it a bit if your worried ask your doctor

My waters broke at home at 36+3 days I had to stay in hospital until 37 weeks to be induced baby boy made his arrival after 18 hours of labour on the 25th Aug 2026 he was only due 14th September 🥹💙

Baby names
Hi guys im due a baby boy in january and my partner wants to name him Leo after his best friend, the boy middle name was already set to Duncan for a boy (his uncle who has passed) but im not certain on Leo, i like the name and think its sweet and works but im not certain about the reasoning of it being his best mates name, however I also dont have any other boy name ideas so might go with the Leo Duncan because I do like the name, thoughts?

postpartum pain
i’m 1 month post partum tomorrow. when giving birth i had forceps and an episiotomy (2nd degree). After giving birth i moved to the postnatal ward, i asked for stool softeners constantly throughout the day and didn’t actually receive them until about 12 hours later, so this resulted in haemorrhoids just to add to the discomfort i already had. anyway i felt like the pain was getting better in all aspects but the last week i’ve started to feel a lot of discomfort again in both areas.
Is it normal to still be really sore a month on? my check up with doctors isn’t until october 1st.

First shower at hospital after C section?
Please share any tips to make this easier?
Did you use soap? Did your partner come with you? Who looked after baby?What did you change into? Did you wash your scar? Did you just wash your lower body and avoid getting your scar or dressing wet? Did you use a shower seat? Stand? Did you shower before or after your catheter was removed?
