Just before she turned 18 months and we went cold turkey, just took it away completely. She only had it for naps so maybe makes it easier.
Was a bit upset for 1-2 days but then totally forgot about it and hasn’t asked for it since! I feel it’s better to do it sooner rather than later as they’re less attached to it and not as opinionated😂

Same as above. We did cold turkey around 2 years. I planned it that way because it was January, so just after holidays, not really any visitors or interruptions and no other big life changes happening like potty training. It took about 2 days, she was really upset the first day, a little upset the second day, and by day 3 she was doing fine. Forgot about it and never asked again. I think it's easier when they are developmentally ready to go without them and I avoided using it outside of naps and sleep at all. That just makes the removal more difficult.

Nearly 3. She was 2 years and 9ish months I think. We used the dummy fairy. Spoke about it for weeks at first. Said she was coming, then picked a day, put the dummies in an envelope and the next day the dummy fairy had left a few super cool presents. 2 days of taking a little longer to get to sleep and it was like she never had them x

6 months. We went cold turkey as it was really impacting his sleep xxx

We got rid at 6 months. Just went cold turkey and she was fine.

What's a dummy???? Sorry if its a dumb question
My baby just turned four months on the 20th. She hasn’t quite sat up by herself yet but every time she is in somebody’s lap or somebody’s holding her, she’s showing interest in wanting to stand up. When is a good time to get her one of those bouncing toys, I wasn’t sure if we should introduce it yet because she’s not sitting independently or not

Has anyone got any advice. My newborn is 11 days old and I've been really struggling with anxiety about making sure he is OK, feeding schedules, waking through the night and a few other things. I'm seeking help but wondered if anyone can share their experiences?

My baby has just turned three months and I want to start tracking her sleep during the day, does anyone use any apps that are free and they would recommend? I am not trying to sleep train her till next month but I know it will take a couple months to do so I am not worried, I just want to know she is getting the right amount of sleep now and when she is sleeping in case she has too much or too little, she slept last night from around eight ish till about eleven ISH if I remember and the half three ISH for a bottle then woke up at seven for another bottle, had a wiggle in the cot while I chilled out next to her, I have a cold and it's zap me or else I would interact with her, she got fussy around half seven I think and came for a cuddle and slept till ten ISH and then I had to go out on a important errand, which she napped in the car for about half an hour after crying all the way there which was overwhelming but I had to do it, then around two ISH we both slept till five ISH, as I said I am not well so she was in her cot and me in bed and then she asleep around half eight, I want to know this all correct for her age.
Also how does everyone elses three month old sleep position at the moment, I have a very wiggly baby so I won't use a blanket as she kicks it off and has started to grab, so she's in a sleep bag with arms because she can roll over, with great head control and now for the last few months has slept on her side even when I place her on her back then will slowly move around the cot, I always check her but seems alright, video so you see what she does

What do you prefer with baby bottles and why?

Maybe it’s because I’m jealous, maybe it’s because I’m hoping to find peace in myself but those who have babies/children who sleep well have a very different journey of motherhood/fatherhood. I’m tried, burnt out and close to a menty B

I always thought you had to wait 2 weeks but chat gpt is saying you can do it whenever & even says you can bath WITH the cord still, which I thought you had to wait for? She’s currently a week old, her cord fell off on her 3rd day. Not sure when we should do it🥹
