my son turned 3 at the end of july. it’s like a switch happened that night and all of a sudden he’s going crazy. the kid is just non stop. the whining and crying also really heightened. he doesn’t want to listen to anything i say. runs away when im trying to get him to do something. am i doing things wrong? is this my fault or just his age? any other’s going thru this?

I have described it as a switch flipping too! Or “overnight personality transplant” lol.
Yes my little boy turned 3 at the end of June and a week before his birthday he started tantruming up a storm and was going bonkers all day long (and dropped his nap completely, send help lol) after being a super chill little guy all the way through 2. A few months out now and he has mellowed a bit, but the boundary pushing and endless energy persists lol.
The whining/yelling/crying has died down a bit but only after repeating of “talking that way doesn’t get you what you want” like a thousand times.
Hang in there! I don’t think it’s your parenting, I think it’s just their age!

This exact thing is happening with my son! It’s totally normal stage of development- learning about their autonomy! If you want to DM me we can chat more!

You are not at fault at all!
I let my son (4) watch videos while he’s going to sleep.
He gets put to bed at 7 and is never awake past 8.

My baby just turned four months on the 20th. She hasn’t quite sat up by herself yet but every time she is in somebody’s lap or somebody’s holding her, she’s showing interest in wanting to stand up. When is a good time to get her one of those bouncing toys, I wasn’t sure if we should introduce it yet because she’s not sitting independently or not

Has anyone got any advice. My newborn is 11 days old and I've been really struggling with anxiety about making sure he is OK, feeding schedules, waking through the night and a few other things. I'm seeking help but wondered if anyone can share their experiences?

My baby has just turned three months and I want to start tracking her sleep during the day, does anyone use any apps that are free and they would recommend? I am not trying to sleep train her till next month but I know it will take a couple months to do so I am not worried, I just want to know she is getting the right amount of sleep now and when she is sleeping in case she has too much or too little, she slept last night from around eight ish till about eleven ISH if I remember and the half three ISH for a bottle then woke up at seven for another bottle, had a wiggle in the cot while I chilled out next to her, I have a cold and it's zap me or else I would interact with her, she got fussy around half seven I think and came for a cuddle and slept till ten ISH and then I had to go out on a important errand, which she napped in the car for about half an hour after crying all the way there which was overwhelming but I had to do it, then around two ISH we both slept till five ISH, as I said I am not well so she was in her cot and me in bed and then she asleep around half eight, I want to know this all correct for her age.
Also how does everyone elses three month old sleep position at the moment, I have a very wiggly baby so I won't use a blanket as she kicks it off and has started to grab, so she's in a sleep bag with arms because she can roll over, with great head control and now for the last few months has slept on her side even when I place her on her back then will slowly move around the cot, I always check her but seems alright, video so you see what she does

I always thought you had to wait 2 weeks but chat gpt is saying you can do it whenever & even says you can bath WITH the cord still, which I thought you had to wait for? She’s currently a week old, her cord fell off on her 3rd day. Not sure when we should do it🥹
