Sex life during pregnancy

Has anyone else completely lost their sex drive in pregnancy? 🙈

I haven’t had sex since finding out I’m pregnant and honestly haven’t really felt the desire or need to, but I’m starting to worry whether that’s normal!

I think there are a few things going on. We were trying for nearly 2 years, so sex became quite regimented and scheduled around ovulation and I think it lost some of the fun and spontaneity. Now I’m pregnant I almost feel a sense of relief like… it’s done its job 😂

I’m also quite anxious about having sex and then bleeding afterwards. I know spotting can happen and doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong, but I know myself and I think seeing any blood would completely freak me out.

But then part of me worries that I’ve genuinely just lost my sex drive. I don’t want to get completely out of the habit of being intimate either, especially knowing that once baby is here we’ll probably be tired and have even less time for ourselves!

Has anyone else felt like this in the first trimester? Did your sex drive come back later on? Did anyone actually go their whole pregnancy without having sex at all?

And did you just wait until you genuinely wanted it again, or did you find that getting back into it helped bring the desire back?

I’m similar to you. It took quite a while to get pregnant so it was quite regimented. Then having a loss last year I don’t want to do anything that could harm the baby or want to bleed as I would freak out. My husband feels the same. I’m not too fussed as I know it won’t always be like it.

Same girl same only thing is my pregnancy wasn’t planned at all and I’m not a person who really cares for sex I only had sex when I really really needed too and now that I’m pregnant I don’t want to look at a man think about a man or be around a man and I don’t want a man touching me or any of that I’ve become totally disgusted with sex and men

Quitting my job

So I’ve come to the decision to quit my job mainly because they keep putting my safety at risk with heavy loads and stuff and I’m over worrying what they’re going to make me do, so I’m going to quit with immediate effect because I literally end up having panic attacks before I leave my house to go to work. Just want to know if people think what I’m doing is right or if I’m jumping the gun

Christmas toys

Sorry I know it’s too early for the ‘c’ word😂 but I’m wondering if you build the toys before wrapping them for your toddlers?
Last year he was only nearly 1 obviously when things were unwrapped In a box he wasn’t really interested nor did he know what it was. Even when things were built he’d still rather play with the boxes and to some extent I’m expecting the same this year but I thought maybe if I pre build the toys and wrap them so they’re ready to play with straight away he’d be more engaged and excited. Is this something anyone else does? He’ll be coming up to 2 this Christmas and I’ve got him a few things I just know he’s going to love!

Christmas ideas?

I know I'm getting ahead of myself! My July girl is my second daughter so we have plenty already (highly recommend the tonies!), also have a balance bike.

Anyone care to share what they're planning? I really haven't any ideas!
