Looking for a 2-3 day a week role at this point I’ll take anything for the income. Seems like everywhere want 5 days a week 24 hours a day and a bachelors degree. Gosh talk about make it difficult to get back into work. I have 18+ years of property management under my belt and I’m fighting for my life just to work around childcare I don’t want my baby in daycare 5 days a week just so I can work to pay for it 🤦🏻♀️ rant over

I work in Residential Children's Care and we have relief staff that pick up shifts for cover etc maybe look at something like that where you can chose your shifts?

We used to advertise and interview for our own relief staff, or they were staff that wanted to drop down hours / couldn't commit to regular shifts but then we did start using agency staff as well. 6 months on maternity now so forgot the name of the agency 🤦🏼♀️

Thank you I’ll look it up x
I had my 6 week check today.
But half an hour before I went to it… I discovered a box of brand new latex condoms in my husbands drawer (I’m allergic to them so they aren’t for me), and noticed 1 left from his previous box (there’s a reason for it and I gave it to him).
Why was I in his drawer? I needed to borrow his charger.
So, trying to keep my shit together for the 6 week check was fun.
I’m going to assume you ladies would assume he is seeing someone else? Or do I try to believe there’s an innocent explanation? 😂
I’ve had my suspicions throughout my pregnancy and shortly after I gave birth something felt off.

I had no problems telling people I'm close to our news, but finding it really weird to tell people like coworkers or neighbours that I'm pregnant?! It feels like such a bombshell to drop into a normal conversation and I hate the fuss and all the questions that follow.
I'm definitely looking visibly rounder now so think people are probably working it out for themselves, but of course noone will dare say anything to my face 🤣
Does anyone else feel awkward telling people or is it just me?
