Any bi-polar daddy experiences?

My ex is bi polar. He was amazing to me then we got pregnant which he wanted and planned. He started having angry outbursts towards me and at 36 weeks pregnant- he got angry and slammed on the brakes which caused immense pain. He begged for forgiveness- said he would change. Then 3 weeks postpartum angry outburst again and decided to move out. Surprisingly 2 years with me, he was unemployed while I worked 2 jobs to care for the family then he gets a job paying $200k/yr and dips out. Now he is telling everyone lies about me so he can play the victim card and not look bad for leaving his newborn and mother. He also dipped out leaving his 11 year old son with me to care for on top of it until he can find proper housing for them. I don’t get it, is this a normal bi polar thing? He states he is taking his meds but I don’t exactly believe that. He says maybe we can reconcile and do counseling in a year which I feel is ridiculous to uproot your older son just to potentially move him back again in a year. I feel he is just trying to lead me so I don’t file child support. I am starting to feel a bit crazy that I still wish things would work out with this nutball. Any advice on if this a manic episode or just a jerk of guy? Or any advice on how to handle moving on with a newborn, struggling here.

It could be a manic episode, but I think you should file for child support anyway if he is not giving you any money for your baby or his son. Does his son have his mum around so he can go there or is that out of the question? It's not down to you to provide for his son. I think if you do get back with him it will be up and down like this all of the time and won't be a stable relationship so maybe it's best to not get back together. Especially as he is spreading lies about you. It's a shame and it will be hard to move on. Don't get sucked into any bull he gives you in the future even if you love him. I would record all contact just in case...

Girl I'm bipolar and on meds but like most mental illnesses, I've heard bipolar in men is much different than in women. I have my emotional outbursts but I'm never overly violent to my family

Sleeping through night?

Just out of curiosity when did your LOs start sleeping through the night?
I know sleep regressions exist and each baby is different but wondering if there is some kind of average.
Our LO is 6 weeks and goes between 3-5h at night, aware there is still a way to go!

Naps in bedroom cot

When did you start to put them in their cot in their own bedroom for daytime naps?

Baby carrier??

Please can any recommend a good carrier, my little girl is 4 months old, I want one with good neck support so I don’t have the hold her head from bobbing about so much when she falls asleep if that makes sense. I currently have a baby bjorn & I hate it. I need one with good back support also!! Thanks 😊😊

Daytime naps

My little one is five months old and she refuses to sleep during the day. If we manage to get her down she’s either in the pram or after a feed. At night she feeds and then sleeps but wakes after an hour and a half to feed again or screams. Her wake windows can be over four hours long. I know that’s too long and I’m exhausted and emotional. Any advice would be appreciated.

Biting toddler

Please help! My 1.5 year old hasn’t stopped biting at daycare. If she bites 3 more times they are kicking her out. Please any suggestions help. I’m at a loss and I don’t want her to lose her routine. Her 3.5 year old sister goes to the same daycare and is thriving.
