Intimacy post-partum

Myself and my partner haven’t really been intimate (sex specifically) my entire pregnancy, naturally I’m feeling insecure about myself and worried. He worries a lot about the baby (I have worried a lot less) and he’s also said he doesn’t think he could be intimate with a baby in the room.

Safe sleep guidance is for baby to sleep in the same room as you for six months, so does that mean no intimacy for six months?

I feel like the lack of intimacy is affecting my self confidence.

Of course baby safety is more important than intimacy - I just wonder how everyone else does it?!

just because we stay in different states does not mean that we can’t become supportive mom friends ! And you never know there’s nothing like planning trips and cruises family meet up. !! Mommy friends on the East Coast with multiple kids where y’all at ? I like to talk otp I text I FaceTime ! fyi I don’t pretend to be the perfect mom or the perfect woman cause I’m not I’m just real realistic you live in Texas I live in Georgia cool get you a bottle of wine on Friday night when the kids sleep let’s FaceTime each other. Cheers. lol
