How long did your partner have off when your baby/babies arrived?
How much of this was paternity leave? How much was annual leave?

1st baby, a week.
2nd baby, 2 days.
No paternity leave as self employed and baby 2 came early at Xmas with pre booked work.
2 weeks - self employed
My partner took 0 days after the baby was born, he his self-employed but works from home. While I was in hospital he took 2 days off (the number of days that I was there)
2 weeks statutory paternity leave, and I had a c section, wish he’d taken longer
He has 2 weeks statutory paternity, and used 2 weeks annual leave.
1st baby - 1 week annual leave and 1 week unpaid. He didn’t qualify for paternity leave.
2nd baby - 2 weeks stat paternity leave
1st baby my husband didn’t qualify for paternity leave so he took 2 weeks annual leave, this time we’re planning on 2 weeks paternity leave and 1 week annual leave
2 weeks stat paternity
8 weeks - 6 weeks paternity and 2 weeks holiday
7weeks - 2 paternity, 2 compassionate (I have severe MH and this was agreed), 2 Christmas leave and 1 relocation (we moved house 4 weeks PP). Husband is military.

Anti depressants
My GP want me to go on anti depressants for PPD but I’ve heard so many people say they make them feel worse/feel like zombies and I’m scared to even take them bc I’ve never heard anyone say their anti depressants even worked for them
Have they worked for any of you?

Struggling
Im 8 days pp and im struggling 😞 does anyone else just feel over whelmed and cant see how they are going to do all this? Im staying at my mums so she can help but now i feel bad i cant do it by my self 😭
