Outgrown next to me
Hi guys, my baby is 17 weeks and is close to touching both ends of the next to me
And can reach both sides with his arms. He can almost roll but wouldn’t have the space to in this crib.
What are we doing when they outgrow? Move into big cot in a separate nursery or are you bringing a big cot into the bedroom? (Not sure it will fit!)
He’s currently at the 4 month regression and waking about 10 times a night so the thought of having to go to a different room feels painful at the moment. Any advice welcomed!

Hi my baby is the same really she is still ok in the next to me but I think I’ll have to move her into her cot pretty soon. Me personally I still want her in the same room as me so I’ll be bringing the cot into my room x
Our plan is to get a travel cot/pack n play type thing for a short term solution as our main cot won't fit in our room.
We co-sleep. We only used one for day naps in the front room but hit 9kg at 3 months so outgrew it by weight.
Baby should be with you for every sleep until 6 months+ so if the big cot won’t go in your room common options are a travel cot or a blow up bed for the nursery for you x
My son is a size of a 9 months old 😂 he reached limit of his next to me last month and we have a smaller cot instead in the same spot as next to me. Mamas papas sell transitional cot and its smaller than regular cot

Thinning hair
Has anyone found anything that genuinely helps hair getting thicker? I used to have the thickest hair, down to my bum. Then after I had my son it just won’t stop falling out. Even now, I’m nearly 15 months PP and every day clumps of hair are falling out, even when I’m sleeping and roll over strands of hair get wrapped around my neck or hands. My hair line is so thin you can just see scalp, and if it wasn’t for how long it is, I’d genuinely look bald. Really starting to worry and stress out about it.

Kids are mind blowing!
My 8 year old daughter cut off her eyelashes at school because her friend told her it was a good idea… I am sick. I genuinely cannot wrap my mind around this. Drop you’re experiences in the comments 😭

Breast milk available!!
I’m looking to give away a bunch of my breast milk if anyone needs any. I’m collecting an average of 60oz every 24 hours so my deep freezer is FULL. I don’t want to have to pour it out because I know there are moms/babies in need. PLEASE reach out if you are interested or know of someone who could use it.

Should a lactation consultant know about mainstream breastpump brands?
I would think so? I have started combi feeding and have been referred to a lactation consultant who called me today to make an appointment (we want to make sure that baby does not have a tongue tie - started combi feeding because he's not gaining weight as he should). When we spoke, I basically said I bought and use the Eufy breastpump and she flat out told me she's never heard of it? I'm a little concerned about her knowledge in other areas because I would expect a lactation consultant to know all about the current trends surrounding expression of breastmilk and breastfeeding / combi feeding. What are your thoughts? She also advised me not to top up with formula even though our health visitor and GP advised us to do so because our little man needs to gain a bit of weight! She wants me to EBF for the next week until we get to see her - I am sorry but in a weeks' time my boy may well fall another centile (he's already fallen two) and I am NOT willing to risk it.

AITA?
for context, I said this to her because whenever she would simply just watch him during the day she would have him napping at 8 PM so he would be awake until four in the morning and it took me over a month to get him on a schedule and I simply don’t want her to ruin it because she’s negligent about it.
