I'm 38 weeks. I haven't decided yet if I'm scheduling a c section or attempting a VBAC. This will be my 3rd birth, 2 prior c sections. I really do want a VBAC but my ultrasounds show a possible craniosynostosis (early skull fusion) that can't be diagnosed properly until after birth. I see different OBs at every appt so I keep getting different answers. My last OB said she'd have me go into spontaneous labor instead of inducing. Other OBs recommend a repeat c section. I'm nervous either way. I don't want her to get stuck but I worry how recovery will go since I have a 4 and 3yo. My 3yo just turned 3 today and I've been joking with my husband that I'm gonna keep her cooking till Oct (due 27th) so we don't have two Sept birthdays 🤣 I just have a lot on my mind. Now I'm rambling, tired and uncomfortable.

I have had one previous emergency c section and opted for a scheduled c section this time after issues with reduced movement from the baby. I was a great VBAC candidate but I just felt safer with the scheduled c section. Go with your gut. I also was due Oct 2 and now with the schedule I am having a Sept 29th baby. I wanted an Oct baby so bad too!

I’m surprised your OB would let you attempt a vbac! I would personally go that route, before electing for a C-section.

I'm glad you had the option. My ob didn't even give me that much with 2 previous c-sections. I'm scheduled for a C-section on the 16th. I'm also worried like you about the recovery period. No little ones at home but still concerned just because of all the pain I know I'll be in. I wish you a safe delivery no matter what you decide. You got this!
Just found out my 11 week old baby stopped growing at 8 weeks 😠and a heartbeat which can be detected at 6 weeks was absent. 💔
We have a beautiful healthy 20 month old baby girl whom we are beyond grateful for but we were sooo excited to finally continue to grow our family ðŸ˜

I am currently at 35+5 weeks. I have this week and next week left to work but honestly don’t know if I can last ! Finding it so much harder this time having a small child to care for at home as well. We don’t really have anyone who can care for my son either as it used to be my mum but she now has a terminal diagnosis to deal with and understandably isn’t her usual self… Tbh I had stopped trying when found this out so was a bit of surprise and not ideal… hubby is currently working 6/7 nights to save as well so he just as exhausted as I am… but god I just want a full day in bed so bad! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚…
Is anyone else struggling?

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and woke up 2 days ago with bad muscular pain in my upper back. The past 2 nights have been agony, having terribly broken sleep, paracetamol barely touching the pain, and not being able to get comfortable at all.. I've booked a massage today, but it's made me think how am I going to be able to handle labour pain if I can't handle some muscle pain??
Please can people share some of their own experiences to support, or at least get me to think more realistically about pain relief if it's unlikely I'll be able to do it unmedicated..

My daughters name is Maya (My-ya) and I am obsessed with the name Mila too. And everyone tells me they are too similar. Would it sound silly to call my next baby Mila (Me-la)?
