Anyone still working at 35 weeks?

I’m struggling with considerably less to contend with as this is my first, so you managing all of this at once is incredible! You’re doing amazingly. Do you get to work from home? I’m working until my due date for financial reasons and I’m 35+1, all I want to do is relax a bit! Keep having to remind myself it’s the final few weeks now.

Ive got 3 days left and wish I had a just left earlier as I just want a day home away from my toddler 🤣 but cant complain with 3 days - I'll be 36+1 when finished. Call in sick in your last week/few days? Not great I know but needs must sometimes x

Yes! Very much so! I'm 35+2. I've got another 3 weeks but have got 4 days annual leave during that time. As tempting as it is to go on sick leave, be warned that if you take a sick day from 36 weeks, mat leave automatically starts. It will be worth it to for us have more time at the other side!

I worker until 36 weeks im a chef it was hard work! Xx

I'm 32+4 and working until 37 weeks. I did the same for my first baby and although it was really hard, it was worth having that time at the other end.

I worked in the NHS as a radiographer so I asked to be non clinical for the last couple of weeks, essentially moved to desk work. And that really helped.
