I’m really upset. Midwives were apparently off on annual leave so my first appointment wasn’t booked until I was 11 weeks. (I had to phone 3 times before they finally booked me) Unfortunately I wound up in hospital with some spotting and missed that appointment, but midwife had already put in to get my 12 week scan. The hospital didn’t book me in until today 13weeks 3 days. Baby was not up for waking up or getting into position for the downs test. They have said “oh we will get you the second trimester screening” the issue is that yes this checks for downs but that isn’t what I’m concerned about. Should I be worried about the fact I can’t be screened for Edward’s and Pataus in the second trimester? I feel like everything has gone wrong I’m so worried. Also I don’t know if it will help but this is the only view of baby we got today
Edit- also want to add that my midwife couldn’t do bloods at my booking appointment, they haven’t been done today and won’t be done now until I’m 16 weeks. Is this okay?

I am currently at 35+5 weeks. I have this week and next week left to work but honestly don’t know if I can last ! Finding it so much harder this time having a small child to care for at home as well. We don’t really have anyone who can care for my son either as it used to be my mum but she now has a terminal diagnosis to deal with and understandably isn’t her usual self… Tbh I had stopped trying when found this out so was a bit of surprise and not ideal… hubby is currently working 6/7 nights to save as well so he just as exhausted as I am… but god I just want a full day in bed so bad! 😭😂…
Is anyone else struggling?

I am 3.5 weeks post section and in the last few days have started having frequent stabbing pains on the right hand side of my scar. It happens when walking or twisting - basically most movements! There is no redness/swelling/sign of infection, and I had no issues until now. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and woke up 2 days ago with bad muscular pain in my upper back. The past 2 nights have been agony, having terribly broken sleep, paracetamol barely touching the pain, and not being able to get comfortable at all.. I've booked a massage today, but it's made me think how am I going to be able to handle labour pain if I can't handle some muscle pain??
Please can people share some of their own experiences to support, or at least get me to think more realistically about pain relief if it's unlikely I'll be able to do it unmedicated..

Just had my 32 week scan to find out my baby is on the 99th Centile, with particularly high AC. He’s EWF is 5.2lb, I’m terrified about having to have a C section or the risk of shoulder dystopia, I’m only 5ft, and partner is 5’9 so no idea where this has all come from. Negative for GD, anyone on a similar trajectory?
