Induction.

Was supposed to get my induction date before 40 weeks they’ve told me today it’s 3 days after my due date. Honestly so fed up, is there really any point I may aswell just go into labour naturally! Really expected it to be a day this week, just feel it’s pointless now

I’m feeling the same way and this has happened to me. I was told two weeks ago that I would need to get induced at 38 weeks 4 days(mon 14th sep) to be safe and that the bed was all booked , then a few days ago I was seen by another doctor who gave the complete opposite advice and changed it to 40 weeks and 1 day! Turns out my 38 week bed hadn’t event been booked . I’m so frustrated and am doing all the usual things to bring on labour naturally now before I hit the 40 week mark so it’s not in the hospitals hands as they obviously can’t be trusted - so fed up

Also have you asked why they’ve changed your dates? I have and have complained to my midwife as I just want an explanation, but still awaiting a reply

It’s honestly so annoying. I’ve asked why it’s been booked past 40 weeks but still waiting for a response

99th Centile Baby 🫣

Just had my 32 week scan to find out my baby is on the 99th Centile, with particularly high AC. He’s EWF is 5.2lb, I’m terrified about having to have a C section or the risk of shoulder dystopia, I’m only 5ft, and partner is 5’9 so no idea where this has all come from. Negative for GD, anyone on a similar trajectory?

C section scar pain

I am 3.5 weeks post section and in the last few days have started having frequent stabbing pains on the right hand side of my scar. It happens when walking or twisting - basically most movements! There is no redness/swelling/sign of infection, and I had no issues until now. Has anyone else experienced this?

Having first doubts about unmedicated birth

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and woke up 2 days ago with bad muscular pain in my upper back. The past 2 nights have been agony, having terribly broken sleep, paracetamol barely touching the pain, and not being able to get comfortable at all.. I've booked a massage today, but it's made me think how am I going to be able to handle labour pain if I can't handle some muscle pain??
Please can people share some of their own experiences to support, or at least get me to think more realistically about pain relief if it's unlikely I'll be able to do it unmedicated..
