Currently sat in a&e with a sharp pain in my abdomen scared that it’s going to be an ectopic pregnancy has anyone gone through one or could advise if I’m just overthinking I’m so scared

You’re definitely doing the right thing by getting checked ❤️ Sharp abdominal pain in early pregnancy can have lots of causes and doesn’t automatically mean ectopic. They’ll be able to assess you and, depending on how far along you are, may do blood tests and/or an ultrasound. If you develop severe or worsening pain, shoulder-tip pain, dizziness or heavy bleeding while you’re waiting, tell the A&E staff immediately. Hope everything is okay ❤️

Update they’ve sent me home with an appointment for the 17th with the epau team but can’t give me a clear answer as all my bloods and everything have come back normal and the pregnancy test came back positive

I had the same thing, turns out my corpus luteum where I ovulated from was MASSIVE. Baby is all snug in my uterus ❤️ xx

I went to EPU Sunday due to some bleeding and cramps on one side, I was scanned there and then a although too early too see baby they confirmed not an ectopic!

She said I've got a large cyst on that ovary so that's what's causing the one sided pain!

C section scar pain

I am 3.5 weeks post section and in the last few days have started having frequent stabbing pains on the right hand side of my scar. It happens when walking or twisting - basically most movements! There is no redness/swelling/sign of infection, and I had no issues until now. Has anyone else experienced this?

99th Centile Baby 🫣

Just had my 32 week scan to find out my baby is on the 99th Centile, with particularly high AC. He’s EWF is 5.2lb, I’m terrified about having to have a C section or the risk of shoulder dystopia, I’m only 5ft, and partner is 5’9 so no idea where this has all come from. Negative for GD, anyone on a similar trajectory?

Having first doubts about unmedicated birth

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and woke up 2 days ago with bad muscular pain in my upper back. The past 2 nights have been agony, having terribly broken sleep, paracetamol barely touching the pain, and not being able to get comfortable at all.. I've booked a massage today, but it's made me think how am I going to be able to handle labour pain if I can't handle some muscle pain??
Please can people share some of their own experiences to support, or at least get me to think more realistically about pain relief if it's unlikely I'll be able to do it unmedicated..
