Hey! My baby is 3.5 months now and I'm absolutely loving being a mum. I'm EBF and finally feeling more confident with it. But I feel like I maybe make things so much harder than they need to be. I've never been a laid back person; I like to be organised and punctual but obviously, this goes out of the window now and I'm just finding it a bit difficult to adapt, I think.
Do you find it easy getting out the house? Going for walks with the pram? Do you just get up and get out in the car? Show up to baby classes feeling OK and like it was easy? Because I feel like getting myself ready, baby ready, bag ready and going out is quite overwhelming.
Am I overthinking this or is it actually hard?

Honestly, I think it all depends on the day! Some days getting out feels easy, but if I’ve had a rubbish night’s sleep or baby is having an absolute fit, I dread it too and need some reassurance 😂
Having a baby is such a huge change, especially with our first, so we’re not going to feel confident every day when it’s all still so new. I definitely don’t think you’re overthinking it - it is hard! But the more you do it, the easier it gets and you find your own little routine. Give yourself loads of grace 💕

It's so overwhelming! You have to think of everything and even when you try and give yourself a second to think what you might've forgotten bubba is distracting you! Today for example we took our baby swimming for the first time. I was so focused on remembering to bring the right thing to change him into once he got out the pool and making sure he had his swim nappies on I totally forgot to bring a normal nappy to change him into afterward as I'd left them in the change bag. Luckily we were in a caravan on a holiday park so it was only a short journey back to the caravan but poor thing had to sit in his reusable swim nappy wrung out as best we could until we got back! Having a baby is hard!!

Wow, you leave the house???? 🤣
Seriously send help, I cannot leave the house unless my husband drives us, or unless my husband accompanies me on a walk. I literally feel crippled and just believe it will get better. Possibly I’m also overthinking and like control a bit too much, so I’m worried that if I leave the house with the baby by myself, things will fall out of my control

I make sure the nappy bag is topped up as soon as I get back from going out. I then get clothes out for the next day for both of us the night before and a few muslins and I set up breakfast. I make sure I get up with plenty of time and feed and dress her as one of the last things. Works a treat now we are in the rhythm. Good luck though mumma as it’s not the easiest! x

Pack the bag the night before when baby is asleep or with your partner. Get yourself ready early whilst baby is having their morning nap. Try to time it so you feed and change nappy right before you leave the house. Start with local/short trips, go to family homes so you are comfortable to breastfeed there before going out in public. Join a baby sensory class, all mums are in the same boat and you will soon see you are not alone!

It gets easier as baby gets older. I always keep the nappy bag topped up and change and feed baby before we go out. It’s difficult sometimes but getting out is really good for your mental health. This is my second baby so I’m kind of forced to organise afternoons out of the house for my toddlers sake, even if it’s a short walk and trip to the park. You’ll get the hang of it ☺️

I make one plan a day - one place to visit or one thing to do. It could be popping to the shop to pick up one item. Start small and build yourself up, you’ll get the swing of it and all of a sudden you’ll be out for hours without realising 🫶🏻
With added mini soya chunks and sweetcorn

I just feel so fucking agitated at the moment. I have 2 under 2 and one of them is autistic. So we have daily meltdowns etc. I'm up at 6am every day and don't sit down till maybe 10pm. I'm doing absolutely everything for them & the only break I get is going to the gym but I'm out for an hour max. As soon as I'm home I'm straight back at it, I don't even have time to shower.
My partners great but I don't think he has any fucking idea just how hard it is being with 2 small kids every minute of the day, managing appointments & the house. I'm starting to resent him. I'm snappy & miserable.
I resent my dog. He stinks & keeps malting everywhere. He's old so keeps shitting in the house.
The kids have kicked off for me all morning, yet as soon as he's here its calm & I look dramatic.
I'm not enjoying being a mum cos I can't cope with the constant stress. I've got adhd and autism so I'm overstimulated very quickly.
I've had ENOUGH.

So, my boyfriend and I have a son together.and usually he doesn’t mind buying him things he needs like diapers and wipes etc…but recently he won’t get him anything that he needs. So when my son runs out we end up in an argument and he gets upset that he has to leave at 3 in the morning to get whatever it is my son needs when I told him days before he was almost out. I would get them myself but he doesn’t let me work because “he wants to take care of his family”. What should I do or say?

My husband has an issue with me wearing sexy undies to work. Yesterday, I wore a thong for the first time in years because I'm just tired of my panty line showing 🙃 and oh my gosh he was very unhappy. He says that if he's not happy about it then I wouldn't do it. I should wear it at home. He says things like " men can tell I'm wearing a thong. " I don't respect him because I wear it to work, and he does not like etc. I just can't believe that it bothers him so much. I told him if I feel the need to wear it outside the house I will. It's not every time I want my panty line showing. I literally have less than 4 thongs, and only one Yesterday in years. No one sees under my clothes, so what's the issue. Please give me some advice on this? Who's wrong in this situation?

What snack ideas would you have for a 19 month old that will keep her entertained on a 9 hour flight and will fit in these little compartments? Will take more of course.
