Do you have (or have ever had) an std?

I recently did an std test and was clear which was a relief… considering I had an ex who I didn’t realize til later that he thought if he couldn’t see anything wrong down below then it was fine… 🤦🏻… i clearly chose wrong with him I was only with him for 6 months but yeah… some people be out here passing things when they don’t even know they have anything … it’s scary

Yes. Actually disturbing story I’m about to tell. Apparently i contracted herpes from a guy I was seeing. I tested positive for it around September 2019. I was bawling. I cried for a month thinking I’d never have a normal sex life again. I was embarrassed to tell any future sex encounter I had and I knew I had to. The next encounter I had I told him and he was reassuring me he didn’t mind using a condom and carrying on. Anyway, I go back to test again and this time I tested negative for it. I thought, “what?” So I got another test at a different office and also tested negative. I have tested negative since. I don’t know how or what reason a test came back positive that one time was for. To this day I wonder.

I believe the number is over 13 million people get HPV each year. 64% of people under 50 have oral herpes and over 846 million adults have genital herpes (my parents included sorry to out y’all like this but you’ll never see anyways).
