Do you believe we are here to have sex and only that only? Like there’s not so many other experiences of like that exceed feelings you experience in sex? Laughter has be studied to be more enjoyable/wholesome feeling then sex can. I’m here for opinions.

And I’m what I’m getting at is laughing has been shown to “feel” better, to “alive” a person more than sex can. Is that not an argument that we are here to do more than procreate? That is only 1 argument. Of all things you could say. He wants “evidence” and it’s all i can come up with proven because my opinions are not enough. Women having lives outside of procreating with a man doesn’t exist to him. He thinks women who dont are miserable. What do you think?
I am having the hardest time listening to his opinion on why women are here. 😠

Is this man important to you or something? If not I would say drop the whole debate, he doesn’t see women as whole people and that’s not a stance you can easily just shift in one conversation. If humans only lived to procreate we wouldn’t have entire theories like maslows hierarchy of needs, wouldn’t have asexual people and people wouldn’t seek out so much companionship and fulfillment outside of romantic partnerships. There’s some innate biological desire to procreate yes but to claim it’s only that is like high school boy brain or Andrew Tate logic

I would leave it at a simple response like I could see how thinking that would benefit you because thinking anything else would make you feel inferior as not only a man, but an individual. My opinion is that life or the experience that we are perceiving is incredibly unique to each person and sex, while nice, is not the meaning of life, nor is reproduction. What an individual chooses to experience does not hang on sexual experience or the involvement of other people. While both "male humans" and "female humans" are social creatures, sex is not the pinnacle of existence and if it is for him, I highly recommend therapy, and a soul searching hobby. Consciousness and perception does not have anything to do with sex.

This is your man’s best friend?… yeah I’m curious if your bf sticks up for you and women in these conversations? Cuz I am a firm believer of you are who your friends are…
But on the actual topic as a lesbian I am not a bitter person cuz I don’t enjoy men’s company. I’m actually far more happier being a single crazy cat person than I ever was when I dated men. Like I get to enjoy my hobbies and decorate things how I like. I don’t have to micromanage any man. I don’t have to deal with how emotional they are. They have ridiculous tantrums- I don’t want another child. Life is more peaceful without them in all honesty. I can’t imagine ever going back with a man 🤢
I hate telling guys I’m married because every time I do they cut me off immediately. my husband is okay with me having male friends, and I tell the guys that but they still cut me off. Am I wrong for not wanting to tell guys I’m married ? Im not looking to cheat it’s just cool to have a guy friend 😩

Is £300-£400 a normal amount to spend on your child’s birthday?
I think that’s so standard when you consider presents, clothes, decorations, cake and an outing. My partner thinks a 2 year olds birthday shouldn’t cost this much as they won’t remember it and I get what he’s saying but the cost of everything is so expensive I think it’s hard for it not to cost that much.
Thoughts?

Not sure I should even keep trying to make friends with anyone on here. Isn’t this a community? Not a place where you exclude people from being a part of the conversation? Ah well. It’s been a rough week. Sorry
