Are they not meant to? Mines used a blanket since birth 😅 he’s been fine but my HV said to use blankets with the holes in to make sure if they put it over their head they can still breathe
Yh he has always had a knitted blanket that has holes in but now it is getting to winter I was wondering is he old enough to have a cot blanket is like a proper blanket you would have on your bed but smaller I have looked it up and it says from 1-18 months is when you introduce them I am just nervous as this one doesn’t have holes in and I was wondering when everyone else where to give there lo a proper blanket and pillow x

Duvet and pillow is from 1 year old minimum
I gave birth 4 weeks ago and the delivery was difficult, my baby was in the wrong position and with the cord around her neck, but the midwife didnt check and got me to push for an hour with no luck. I then was taken to the operating room and had a forceps delivery with an episiotomy. Im now 4 weeks post partum and I am conscious of my intimate area as I can always feel it but its not exactly painful just not comfortable like it was before. A few days ago a midwife said my stitches look to have gone now and it looks healed but I know ill get it properly reviewed at the 6 week medical check. My husband and I do want to be intimate as its been a while now, but im conscious that my area doesnt look or feel the same as it did before and I dont know what it will be like when I do have sex again. Im curious what others experiences have been who have had an episiotomy.

When is everyone realistically thinking of putting their babies in their own room? I feel like we would all sleep so much better if mine was in his own room by now!

What ages did your children share a room? I have a 2.5 year old who sleeps through the night no issues, and a 7 month old who currently still wakes at least once in the night and has a bottle, we have a 2 bed house so they will be sharing a room and some point but just wondering what ages people moved their youngest in with other kids !

Hi, mum to a 6 month old here. My little one used to sleep in the cot and wake up a few times. Since his 4 month sleep regression, we have been co-sleeping and he sleeps in bed with us. I’m worried about safe sleeping and would prefer he sleeps in the cot, however he cries as soon as I put him in the cot.
Any advice on how I can train my baby to sleep in the cot?
