People with 2 or more children!

When she turned 1. Luckily my eldest can sleep through anything so when his sister did wake up crying or shouting me he slept. There was a brief window (2-3 days) where they both had to adapt to sharing. She woke up in the night & went to him 1st but he sent her to me instead lol. But never had an issue tbh.

Key is, i think, get them involved when setting the room up but talk about it early so they get used to the idea & get excited x

im not due my 2nd until february but my plan is once my 2nd is at the age to be in her own room then ill be putting them together and trying to keep them within a similar routine if not the same! my 1st will be around 2 years 4 months at the time so similar to yours now, i feel like the sooner the better only because then they have that time to adjust etc x

We currently have 2 children not sharing but our third will have to share with our eldest who is exactly 5 years older. She obviously had a pretty solid bedtime routine and sleeps independently now so we plan to keep baby in with us until around 15 months when we transfer her into a full size bed, provided she's not heavily disruptive through the night. If she's still waking several times or waking for feeding we'll push that back I think xx
