Baby girl is about to be 10 months, I have never left her for a night and have only left her during the day for a few hours. She is very attached to me, which is normal. But my partner and I have been struggling in our relationship lately so he wants to book a night away next week for us to spend some much needed time together but I know my baby won’t settle during the night (she doesn’t sleep through the night yet and will typically only resettle if I go into her). I feel really pressured to leave her which is making my anxiety worse (I have PPD and anxiety so I know my feelings are heightened). I know if we go I won’t relax or enjoy it because I’ll be worrying about our baby settling

Cant you do a date day instead ?

If you’re not going to be able to relax then what’s the point of going? I would wait until she’s no longer so attached and she’s used to staying with someone else. Like said maybe do a day to yourselves and be back with her at night

Who is going to stay with the baby overnight? If it’s parents maybe worth trialing it first. Ask to stay at night when you are there ofc and for this person to go to baby at night and see if baby will resettle. Hope it make sense x
Otherwise, as per Jess comment. Maybe worth doing something during the day.
y’all are boring to talk to 😭😂 like damn, i just want friendships where the conversation actually flowssss. i don’t wanna feel like i’m carrying the conversation or i’m the only one being open & actually trying. ask questions, tell stories, share random shit, let’s skip the awkward small talk & talk like we’ve known each other forever 😂 i wanna feel like i’m talking WITH you, not interviewing you lmao.

Hi! For the mums who have already given birth, what contractions tracker app did you use and would you recommend it?
