When did you first go out?

Haha um the next day? I have a c section and I think I slightly walked around target the day I came out do the hospital. I think I went out a few days after my second but she had a dairy problem so screamed a lot so I think i definitely didn’t go out as often until like a month or two old

On day 6 me and my partner took our son and went for a walk around the park.
We went for a meal in a restaurant and a food shop on day 10. I could have done earlier but my partner didnt take paternity leave and i was a bit nervous. but i would just say everyone is different and have different experiences there is no right answer. Take it easy and work with what you are comfortable with. X

I think I went out for one of my normal coffee and stroll around town walks like a month after. I was exhausted after my labor and delivery - tried vaginally for 72 hours and then had the csection. Then he had a little bit of trouble regulating his temp so I did skin to skin for 24 hours. Dead tired.

2 weeks with my first kid then closer to 6 months with my 2nd.

It's entirely up to you and how you feel I was up and went out like a couple days after my c section.

I tried after one week, I was in so much pain afterwards and so much blood so depending on how pp you are I just say take it slow and the minute you sense pain head back don't push yourself x

With my first it was one week and one day and now with my second it will be one week tomorrow and I haven't gone out yet.

I've had issues with recovery both times so I'm listening to my body and doing what feels right when it feels right.

A couple days after discharge to take babe to first peds appointment. Didn’t go for longer walk/outing until 2 weeks postpartum. I was still pretty dependent on my pain meds for functionality up until about a month after my section.
