I’ve always been a worried person, ever since I was a child. In 2022 I had a breakdown and couldn’t stop having panic attacks over nothing. Since then I’ve been on medication to help (it’s all safe in pregnancy). Recently I’ve had to take a diazepam as it has become unbearable again and I don’t know what has triggered it. Could be staying at my boyfriend’s house after a long time but I’m trying so hard to push through it for my baby.
My boyfriend is concerned that I won’t be completely able to look after our baby when I become like this (psa we have LOADS of family and friends to support us). I had a little cry last night over that comment but I know I’ll be a good mum, panic disorder or not
Sorry this is so long, just needed a quick vent

Mental health issues are not always only "mental" they can be caused or made worse by other underlying issues.
For me it was extremely low vitamin b12, low iron, Ferritin, folate and vitamin D.
I would definitely get bloods checked. Including Vitamin D because the doctor doesn't usually test for this.

Same here personally weekly therapy ,Lexapro , rare drinking instead of all the time , going out the house help me

Have you ever used propranolol medication for the physical symptoms? I found that incredibly helpful.

Ahh sweet im the same, something does change when you have children though I have alot of health anxieties since young and dying in general but you become super aware that you dont want your child to pick up on those things, my inner voice has become stronger since having them , news and bits like that can trigger panic attacks and changes. Is this your first baby? I dont think its helpful him saying you wont be able to look after your child as that is completely untrue im 19years into motherhood and my children are doing just fine and yours will too him sating that could bring up another anxiety i had alot of anxiety during pregnancy and birth it was really hard to the point I would shake and vomit with the fear working on panic attack techniques and what helps you personally calm down work on those get to know what helps calm you down rather then make it worse I have a little journal I keep with panic attack hacks might be worth a try? Xx
So my partner and I aren't that well off financially. We vave a 19 month old and I'm 30 weeks pregnant. We wanted to move to a 2 bed flat before baby comes but it seems we can't afford it comfortably.
Is it unrealistic to change our 1 bed flat to a 2 bed, where we'd change the front room slightly for my partner, me and the newborn to sleep so that my toddler can have his own room. I'm also weary of my son having to get used to being in his own room before baby comes, so us staying where we are would enable him time for that.
Or, do we push for another flat that's bigger and more expensive and scrape by?
What are your thoughts?

My 2 month old baby girl just got her vaccination today and she’s been super sleepy, only sleeps then wakes up, nurses a little and whines until she falls back asleep.
How did it go for your babies? Any tips on making her comfortable? Should I be waking her more ?

Can you train yourself to make more milk or do you just have a set amount?😆
I only manage to get 2 ounces each session (1 ounce from each side).
Baby is nearly 4 weeks old & I’ve been pumping since day 3 when my milk came in.
I pump very regularly (after every breast feed to top my girl up because she gets so sleepy on the boob & doesn’t get a chance to drink the fatty milk, this was causing weight issues so was advised to do this by the feeding clinic). I’ve never had the chance to build a stash because she obviously drinks it all as soon as it’s pumped. I’d love to be able to produce more, the only advice I’ve seen is to pump & feed regularly & stay hydrated which I already do x

My four month old keeps rolling over onto his tummy while sleeping, it’s the first night but hes done it like 5 times since 8pm . What if he can’t breathe?? I’m so anxious, I feel like I won’t be sleeping till he’s over this ‘phase’
I’m so terrified.. what do I do? Help😭

Basically I have a 5 year old son and I'm having a little girl in October but unfortunately I don't have my son living with me and my unborn daughter can't come home either it's because of domestic violence records cohesive behaviour physical and mental abuse from him and hes always yelling at me saying it's my fault because I was in care and I'm on methadone it's killing me inside
