Induction
looking for people who have had more positive inductions the second time round 🫣 i go in next week to get induced i was induced with my first but it took 5 days for her to come , i had the pessary then the gel twice , 2 sweeps and then got my waters broke at 1cm and put on the hormone drip which i was on for 13ish hours 😭i went in at 38+2 this time ill be 39 and as much as it wasn’t that bad other than being in for so long my little girl is autistic and im dreading being away from her for too long 🥲so im just looking to hear positive stories from people being induced the second time for some hope 🤣🤞🏻

Due my second induction any day from next Saturday so happy to let you know! My first went well in terms of delivery but midwife care was absolutely piss poor
I gave birth in may I was induced at 38 weeks due to high bp and possible pre eclampsia. Baby boy was happy and healthy. I did loose blood but that was due to the high bp not the induction. That contractions for me were quite painful after a couple hours but I caved and got the epidural and was so relaxed after and couldn’t even feel the pain of actually pushing, was home the next day (only stayed in to check my iron levels because of the blood loss) xx

Rant incoming
Sorry but I just need to get this off my chest and to see if anyone else feels the same.
I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant and apart from the booking midwife appointment and scan I’ve had no support from the NHS what so ever. I was referred to a service but haven’t heard a thing and now this morning I nearly passed out on the train. Tried to call midwife but I cannot find a number and when I did they said if your under 17 weeks then call your gp. I just feel totally alone in this and have no one to ask any of the important questions like is nearly passing out normal!?

35 weeks no birth plan
I’m 35 weeks high bp and gestational diabetes still with no birth plan is this normal? I feel they are being pretty blasé with me I haven’t got any more midwife appointments face to face only on the phone

Baby can be here at anytime now and still no names 🥴
Everyone says boys are the hardest when it comes to name and they weren’t not joking!
I even asked my nearly 4 years old what we should name her baby brother and her suggestions was ‘Cutie’… cute for a baby name but I am not sure that would be a appropriate for a grown man one day! 😂

C section recovery
I am 10 days post surgery and now starting to consider future recovery, compression leggings and bands etc. Any recommendations from anyone? Not sure really where to start!

13 days post c section
I had my second elective c section 13 days ago… my blood loss has been so minimal I only bled for the first 7 days and it was only quite light…it stopped for a few days then today and yesterday I’ve started to bleed again and it’s a bit of a heavier flow. Has anyone else experienced similar?
