Friendships

I’ve had a lot of things change since becoming a mom but I never thought loosing my friends would be one of them. I’m literally sitting here watching my so call friends out and about and they never invite me, sometimes it’s the thought that counts, you just want to be considered. Has this happened to anyone and how did you navigate it?

This hasn't happened to me since high school, but im sorry I know the feeling. These women are trying to tell you something, you'd be better off finding truer friends you can relate to and who actually care about you

This has happened to me i would agree with Sarah .They will say they didn't invite you because of the baby being considerate but even after you communicated just the invite alone makes you feel included and you still don't get one they don't want you there it took me forever to learn this .

I literally could’ve wrote this myself. Been honestly one of the hardest parts of motherhood for me personally. Especially when my “friends” were so excited for me and so excited for my baby shower blah blah blah. Then baby comes (now I will note my part here I ended with an emergency C-section and didn’t like go on social media and post baby had arrived (side note I really don’t post ever) I didn’t individually text my friends and say anything but ya know the time comes (due date) and time passes and I never heard from these “friends” again. I’m a bare minimum type friend I know life gets busy and people deal with their own shit and sometimes just don’t talk for awhile. All I ask is the same thing I give. I check in once in awhile and always say happy birthday and happy whatever holidays. A lot of my friends have other friends and family members with kids and I honestly thought they “got it” on how it all can go. Nope never got a check in never a how’s pregnancy or is the baby here.

Sexy talk

We love a little sexy talk but sometimes it can kill the mood. If you and your husband/partner were about to get it on and he calls himself a “wild stallion” is that a turn on or off?

Intimacy while pregnant

I’m curious how easy/difficult it is for you all to focus on intimacy while pregnant. It’s been harder for me.
I adore my husband, it’s just awkward being kicked in the stomach by something so fragile and cute while I’m feeling frisky. 😂

Husband refuses to go to couple therapy

I’ve brought it up multiple times over the years because we have trouble communicating sometimes and have been arguing 24/7 and I can’t keep doing that. He said he doesn’t believe in therapy and he’s not gonna go to someone. I’ve found therapist in our insurance and sent him some before and said we can choose one we like together but he still refuses and nothing is getting better. What do I do
