My boy is 7 weeks and has pretty much slept all night last night and all day today, hasn't had a wake window more than maybe 45 minute and only one. He's woke for feeds every 3 hours through last night and today but has just fed then gone right back to sleep againš¤·āāļø
Is this normal? Not used to him being so sleepy but he's got no signs of being ill or anything

My boy was the same a couple days ago at 6 weeks, straight back to normal the next day š

Weāre the same over here the last couple of days. Awake windows are really short and sleep is 3/4 hours. Doesnāt seem to be unwell either, but really struggled to sleep anywhere other than on me, my other half or in our bed!
Baby is currently 4 weeks oldā¦I love her to bits but I DREAD her wake windows, as horrible as that soundsš
Sheās rarely content or happy when sheās awake. If sheās awake sheās crying or screaming. I actually get scared for when she might wake up because she gets herself in such a state.
Has anyone else felt this way? Or am I just an awful mum lol.
Im hoping this gets better once baby is a bit older & can interact more with things/play/laugh etc

Does anyone else absolutely hate the newborn stage? So many of my friends love to borrow him for "newborn snuggles" or whatever but I just can't bring myself to care and just leave him to sleep in his crib as much as possible. I just feel so disconnected from my baby... and in hindsight, I had this with my first 2 as well - I keep them alive but wouldn't say I truly bond with them until 6 months+...
Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I can't openly talk about it with friends/family without serious judgement though I finally admitted it to my husband last night - I don't think I ever admitted it (even to myself) with my first 2. Is something wrong with me?

I had my first ultrasound and I found out my due date is May 11 and my daughterās birthday is May 9th. I cried for about 15min straight lbvs I was already feeling guilty then I find this out on top of that I have had ZERO energy. I havenāt been wanting to play with my daughter and I feel like a shitty mom. My husband has been stepping up a lot and playing with her but now she seems to have gotten so much closer to him šššš Sheās like all
About her dad now and I feel heartbroken š

Babyās 5 days old and will not sleep in the next to me no matter what we try. Iāve tried rocking it, hot water bottle to warm it, swaddled him, sleeping bag and sleepyhead (controversial I know).
Any suggestions, just want some hours sleepš„²

My LO is 6 months old. We live in London with no immediate family close by. When we do visit, LO has mostly cried when anyone else has held her.
I donāt like seeing her distressed. So when she cries I prefer to take her back to soothe her. My partners sister once wanted to keep hold of her to soothe her herself and LO ended up crying herself to sleep.
Iāve been thinking that she will grow put of this when she builds confidence and independence and not to force and distress her if she cries when held.
Itās difficult though as i feel like my partners family think I dont want anyone to hold her and im controlling for not allowing her to cry.
Any advice? Or is normal to just let them cry?
