For me with my daughter it did at like 4 months with my son though no 😭 struggle brushing my teeth

For me it did my the second trimester but the scent of our garbage bags and fried potatoes were my biggest triggers

Get the drugs don't suffer. Sour or tart things helped me. Fizzy ice cold water. Focus on boring protein and carbs. Sniffing Purell or alcohol swabs when out also helps.

For me it got better around 14 weeks but never fully went away. Came back full force in the third trimester. I got Diclectin from my doctor and it helped a lot. Eat whatever you can keep down, don’t worry if it’s “healthy”or not. It’s just about getting any calories you can at this point. Electrolytes drinks like Gatorade or pedialyte worked for me. Hang in there Mama, you’re doing great 😊

I vomited blood every day, all day for the entire pregnancy and had to be hospitalized all three times because of it... Soooo maybe? Lol I hope it calms down for you!

Fizzy sprite with ice that I can chomp on, lettuce/salad, crackers, were all that I was able to eat for a while. Dissolvable Zofran (Odansetron) was a life saver! Even if it didn't stop all the nausea I could usually stop dry heaving long enough to finally eat🥲

Everyone is different, my nausea gets drastically better by 11 weeks and is completely gone by 12-13 weeks

I had nausea up to the moment I gave birth 😓 it really varies and is different for everyone.

I had it for the first 6 months, for me it was coffee like the smell made me feel so nauseous. I used the ginger anti nausea gummies, lots of water a face mask and very minty gum😭

Mine didnt stop til about 16 weeks then there was odd moments i would feel sick such as certain smells that have triggered me such as most fruits or the smell of it such especially tomato and citrus stuff im 27 weeks now

Try drinking lemon and ginger tea mamas

It usually gets better or stops compeletely around 11-12 weeks!

If it doesn't or it's otherwise unbearable, you can get medication to ease it.

Constant contractions but no dilation progress

Im so miserable....
Im 38+4 and have had constant contractions since Wednesday evening , so about 45 hours now but im still only 2 cm dilated. I actually have a very high pain tolerance as I have multipul conditions that cause pain so basically have to be able to function through pain daily. But this has been horrendous

I went into MAC really early hours of thursday morning because my contractions were every 3 mins and really painful. But after monitoring and checking, only 2cm they sent me home. Contractions carried on getting icreasing painful they dying off so they were not just as strong for a little while before ramping up again.
Saw my regular midwife on friday, who checked again. Still 2 cm but she managed to do a sweep.

Everything continued contractions wise. Paracetamol wasn't touching the pain at all. Then got back to every 4 mins but so painful I couldn't talk through them. So again back to hospital, they did checks still 2cm. Stayed 10 hours! And again still 2cm. Im loosing alot of mucus but cervics just isn't changing.

So I was discharged with codeine and the plan that I'll be on the induction list by monday if baby still hasn't arrived.

Im absolutely fucking miserable now. Before all this I'd had 3 weeks of braxton hicks like clockwork every evening lasting about 5 hours a day.

When I had my daughter 4 years ago Everything just progressed fairly quickly and I was only in labour just under 30 hours start to finish with only a small amount of gas and air. Everything is so stop start its exhausting. My back pain is just chronic and nothing is touching it at all. I really didn't want a induction but physically and mentally im abousutly broken now....

My daughter only knows mummy's feeling poorly, and insisted on giving me her lovey heart on Wednesday, since tgen shes insisted I keep it in my hand if I put it down even just to eat and she sees she walks over and puts it back in my hand. She got very upset having to leave me today when I went to hospital and I offered her it back to hold she insisted I keep it in my hand. 😭

Seeking reassurance - pregnant after c-section

Hello,
I think i'm pregnant. I have missed a period and a faint line on pregnancy test. I'm going to take another test and get an early scan etc to be sure.

The issue is that I am 7months post c-section. This was not planned and I feel so bad. If i am pregnant, i dont want to lose this baby and i'm so terrified of the risks involved with getting pregnant so soon after c-section.

Is there anyone who can share a positive story where they got pregnant after c-section and all was ok? I'm so scared. 😢

Early gender scan or wait until 20 weeks?

We were initially planning to wait and find out the gender at the 20 week NHS scan. However, family members who had kids before suggested going privately because the 20 week scan can be intense with a lot to check, and to them it felt more like a medical procedure than a special moment. I'm really torn now, we will be most likely one and done so I don't want to have regrets!
