9 week old slept through night?

This was my LO too! I felt like he was just wriggling and not actually waking up so tried leaving him, he never woke up and cried and he started sleeping through - temporarily 😂 really he never wanted night feeds after that but he did have a lot of milk during the day. I found that if I tried to force a night feed in he would only have a tiny bit. As long as they're healthy and gaining weight as expected you can follow their lead and enjoy the sleep while it's there!

At 9 weeks old i assume she’s back up to her birth weight, you don’t have to wake her. My son used to sleep from 11pm til sometimes 1pm at that stage, it was very strange but i didn’t complain😆 was advised by health visitor if he was having plenty of wet and dirty nappies there was no need to wake him

My health visitor reminds me EVERY time she visits that if baby is hungry she WILL wake up. As long as baby is back to birth weight and following their weight curve, let them sleep and enjoy all the rest you can get.

My baby has slept pretty much through the night since about 6 weeks! I was worried too but yeah with no weight issues (chunky boy 😂) and plenty of nappies it’s all good! Enjoy your sleep!

Bubba will let you know but mine was the same, I freaked out and the HV was like...why are you waking him, he's putting on weight nicely, enjoy the sleep!

I do a dream feed about 10/10.30pm when I go to bed and then quite often I wake him up at 7am but that is just because I need that routine when I go back to work!

Enjoy the sleep! But I've learned to lie to people, noone likes the mum with the baby who sleeps through the night 😂

As long as weight gain is good and they aren't difficult to wake or lethargic when they do then all sounds brilliant!

That’s absolutely fine and great for you!! It means she’s having enough in the day to keep her going through the night and as long as her weight isn’t a concern, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with her having a full nights sleep.. and giving you one too! 🥰

We figured this with my 6 week old I always wake up to hear here wriggling and making little noises but I leave her to it now unless she starts crying or I can hear her getting frustrated, she really only wakes up once a night, although we’ve had some nights where she’s up every couple hours or won’t sleep

Bubba will defo let you know if they’re hungry, I was told by my HV that if they’re gaining weight and having a good amount of dirty and wet nappies they’re fine and will eat when they need to eat! My little girls last bottle is at 9pm and she wakes around 5:30/6am to eat again, she’s growing great and we get to enjoy some rest! Also their sleep is changing all the time they’re trying to develop from light sleeping to proper sleep so they’ll begin to move a lot more, but until they actually wake up it’s good to let them wriggle and adapt sometimes they’ll self soothe with their hands etc x

My daughter did this too and then did the same every night near enough basically until she was like 20 months or so 😅 then she regressed and was up like every 2 hours just before she turned 2. And couldn’t get her to sleep in her bed and ended up with us every night 😅🤦🏼‍♀️She’s a better now but she still wants to come in our bed every now and then and still has the occasional wake up at night. She’ll be 3 in January 😅
