I wear them with pads. The pad does the heavy lifting, then the period underwear gives me extra security in case of leaks.

I started using period knickers during Covid and have never looked back. I love them!

I change them 2/3 times a day and rinse them off straight away in the sink and in the nightly wash.

Even on my heaviest days, I’ve never leaked. I used to soak through pads and get blood on the bed, no more!

I wear a cup, worth considering if you haven't. It's so easy to use and imo much more comfortable than tampons. But I don't like having blood out sitting on my skin on the outside.

They are the absolute best imo! I wear them without a pad but I change them throughout the day. If I don't want them faff of changing I wear them with a reusable pad which I will then change and atat some point throughout the day I will remove it and use just the pant.

I have leaked but it has mainly been overnight when I wasn't expecting to have such a heavy flow.

I wear period panties and use a menstrual cup for my heavy days. Pads and tampons make me very irritated down there since switching I have had no issues! Also if you have an FSA account you can use it to buy them!

For heavy days I do a cup and reusable pad (fabric). On light days I do period underwear. I find mine don't hold too much but I know different brands have different absorbency. Normal pads give me rashes and I don't like tampons.

I’m wearing them now lol I’ve always had super heavy periods so would always wear them with a cup. Now that I have an iud and my period has been lighter I’ll wear them alone. In my like 8 years of wearing them I’ve only had once they’ve leaked

I’ve used them a handful of times. They are bulky. I can like feel and smell the blood. I prefer a cup. Once you get the hang of putting it in and out, it’s waaaay more comfortable and so nice to just change in the morning and before bed

I love them. There were a few occasions I had a very heavy flow, and it soaked through. Those were times I was outside and had it on a little longer than I'd planned, though. Honestly, I am so grateful for them.
I clean them out in the shower with me, then throw it in the washing machine. Definitely recommend.

I have the cup, period undies, and cloth pads but I haven’t bought any period products since COVID- that was when I switched, I didn’t wanna fight some old lady over pads lol so I jumped on the reusable train way back then. I use a heavy flow overnight one for overnight. In the morning I to a moderate flow and I’ll change that in the arvo, then put my heavy flow at night again. I throw them on my shower floor and just stomp on them and let the shower water run through until clear, then I’ll wring them and throw them into my laundry pile. They’re always there- I never run out. I use cup when I go out at night or beach or swimming on my period that’s like a “backup” mostly I use my period undies.

I’ve been using the menstrual disc and don’t plan to go back to pads or tampons.
