Pregnancy vitamins

Is everyone continuing to take vitamins beyond 12 weeks? When I asked my midwife at 10 weeks, she said it’s not necessary as folic acid is only needed for development which happens in the first trimester

I only take iron now, I finished folic acid at 12 weeks as my midwife also said it wasn't necessary anymore x

I started taking my vitamins mid preg bc I couldn’t keep them down. I had to since my teeth were chipping and had lost a tooth with first preg.

I continue them until I was 38 weeks pregnant. In the pregnancy vitamins isn’t only folic acid but also other vitamins, so I just continue and my midwife at the time said was best if I continue.

My midwife said folic acid wasn’t necessary beyond 12 weeks but to keep taking Vit D so that’s the only thing I take now x

Folic acid is most important in the first 12 weeks but everyone should continue Vitamin D throughout pregnancy and then after if you breastfeed. Personally I just continued my antenatal multivit to make sure I'm covered for any nutritional gaps, it won't harm and might help!

Lost my job

I was a working corporate girlie until yesterday when I randomly got fired. I'm 6 months away from being due. I'm trying to be positive about it but honestly i'm actually really devastated :"(

Work from home

How do you manage working from home and the baby. I go back to work in 2 weeks and am getting nervous how to balance a baby and my job. Any tips or tricks are appreciated

Employer not responding to flexible working request

I had a call with my manager in early August and I told her my plans for reducing to 3 days a week and not returning until April 2027 (Mat leave ends on 1st Dec 2026). She agreed and said was fine with her but I need to put in writing and email.

I sent the email the next day and I’ve had zero response for the formal flexible working request. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I have since emailed twice requesting to do some KIT days as I now only have 2 months to do them and could do with the money. However again these have had zero response.

I’m not sure what to do next if they keep ignoring emails.

Work From Home

Hello I am a first time mom looking to work from home, and I am DESPERATE 😭😭 i feel like im missing so much moments with my baby, but because i have school online and then i have to go to work, the only days off i have are weekends but i end up cleaning, cooking, feeding my baby, putting her to sleep or im even out running errands. i want to be able to stay home with her and feel “alive” if that makes sense 😭💔 Ate there any moms who work from home to see if they’re job is hiring?
Thank youu 💕

Maternity Leave

Hey Mamas. Im 35+4 and I'm exhausted. My job is not that physically demanding but the commute, the walks etc sometimes are too much. I cant really sleep well lately and i just feel over the edge. I am due on the 30th October but officially starting my maternity leave from the 16th. Although I feel like I can't get to work anymore. My question is whether I change my maternity leave for next week or I wait for the 16th. It feels so far away and feel like I won't be doing much home, but I would love to rest more.
