Work From Home

Hello I am a first time mom looking to work from home, and I am DESPERATE 😭😭 i feel like im missing so much moments with my baby, but because i have school online and then i have to go to work, the only days off i have are weekends but i end up cleaning, cooking, feeding my baby, putting her to sleep or im even out running errands. i want to be able to stay home with her and feel “alive” if that makes sense 😭💔 Ate there any moms who work from home to see if they’re job is hiring?
Thank youu 💕

I had this same problem! I went on care.com and got a job as a nanny and I get to bring my baby with me maybe you can look into that and see if you like it

Community health worker- check positions under big insurance companies they pay great say travel 50/50 but rarely do and benefits etc usually super flexible
I’m a RN case manager and work with a few and they all love it

My husband is a health and life insurance agent, which is fully remote. Message me if you're interested in learning more about it. We're in California but most of his team is in Florida. They all help each other out, so you don't ever have to go at it alone. They're all very understanding of family things coming up + if you ever need/want to have your baby with you during meetings they're open to that.
Regardless, I hope you find something that works for you + your family 🤎

Lost my job

I was a working corporate girlie until yesterday when I randomly got fired. I'm 6 months away from being due. I'm trying to be positive about it but honestly i'm actually really devastated :"(

Work from home

How do you manage working from home and the baby. I go back to work in 2 weeks and am getting nervous how to balance a baby and my job. Any tips or tricks are appreciated

Employer not responding to flexible working request

I had a call with my manager in early August and I told her my plans for reducing to 3 days a week and not returning until April 2027 (Mat leave ends on 1st Dec 2026). She agreed and said was fine with her but I need to put in writing and email.

I sent the email the next day and I’ve had zero response for the formal flexible working request. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I have since emailed twice requesting to do some KIT days as I now only have 2 months to do them and could do with the money. However again these have had zero response.

I’m not sure what to do next if they keep ignoring emails.

Pregnancy vitamins

Is everyone continuing to take vitamins beyond 12 weeks? When I asked my midwife at 10 weeks, she said it’s not necessary as folic acid is only needed for development which happens in the first trimester

Maternity Leave

Hey Mamas. Im 35+4 and I'm exhausted. My job is not that physically demanding but the commute, the walks etc sometimes are too much. I cant really sleep well lately and i just feel over the edge. I am due on the 30th October but officially starting my maternity leave from the 16th. Although I feel like I can't get to work anymore. My question is whether I change my maternity leave for next week or I wait for the 16th. It feels so far away and feel like I won't be doing much home, but I would love to rest more.
