Small Bump

Hey! I'm 25 weeks + 3 days and have only just gotten a bump... anyone else? This is my first pregnancy and I am 5ft8 but it feels suddenly very strange to have a bump after not having one for so long 🫣

Do you have a posterior placenta? Sometimes that can slightly delay your bump aswell as being your first pregnancy too angel 🫶

I’m 26+1 and my bump is still small šŸ˜‚ my midwife is happy though as growth wise everything is absolutely fine. Some days it really pops and others it just doesn’t x

Don’t worry girly you will soon grow I only started to get my bump around 23-24 weeks I’m currently 26 and on the smaller scale compared to others being 5ā€2 so don’t worry

They always say your more smaller on your first pregnancy

I was super small on my 1st pregnancy I didnt get a visible bump until I was 32+ weeks. This is my 2nd pregnancy I popped really early but havent grown a whole lot since! I am being monitored for growth but that's only because of family history of small babies and my 1st was small at full term

I’m the same, I’m a FTM and it’s worried me, but growth is fine, my placenta is posterior too, and baby loves to lie on it. But I’m so annoyed I’m waiting for the typical pop! I’m also 25+3, sometimes I look pregnant, sometimes I just look fat! 🤣

C section vs Induction - advice please!

So I’m really conflicted - basically, after finding out at 34 weeks my pregnancy is classed as high risk due to previous SGA baby (6lbs at full term), after having growth scans the past two weeks I’ve been told this baby is on 97th centile and I’ll either need an induction or a planned section, and I really don’t know what to do. My first labour was horrific, I was induced due to PROM and ended up in theatre with a forceps delivery, had sepsis, an episiotomy and lost a lot of blood - but my recovery was fairly fine. So now having to decide whether to go through that again, with potential complications of a ā€˜big’ baby (I’m still not sure I trust the growth scans?) I don’t know if to chose an elective section instead, but that of course comes with its own risks and longer recovery, and with a wild 3 year old and a dog I feel like it would be even more difficult! Has anyone been through anything similar, what did you decide and how did it go? Thanks!

First birthday invite at nursery

My daughter received her first birthday invite yesterday at nursery since she started a couple months ago (😭🄹😭 I was pretty emotional lol)
But I’ve also got a 1 year old, as my daughter is my first and I’ve got no idea who the mum is etc but how do I go about it with my son. Does he come with me? Or do I get childcare? Or should o just simply text the mum?

Me as a mum wouldn’t mind if he came if it was my daughter’s party but I don’t want to be rude!

Period like Cramps!

I posted a week ago just about having some period like cramps, every few days. I’m 37 weeks + 2, last night around 8pm I had an intense pain in my back for 1-2 minutes and could’ve cried at the pain🤣 it then vanished, went to bed and woke up 4 times through the night with what felt like period cramping all across my pelvis, this is the most and consistent I’ve had it. I haven’t lost my mucus plug, no blood, water hasn’t broken! Could this be a sign that labour is close? Or is this just what happens? Thank you 🩷

Absolutely done

I am 39+ 3 and i feel absolutely drained with this pregnancy. My first pregnancy wasn’t as bad as this one. I had my first at 38 weeks on the dot. This baby is too comfortable up in there. I can’t remember the last time i slept properly. I’m waking up everyday in agony. Atp i am just done and can’t wait to have this baby🄲. Does anyone else feel the same way or is it just me. I’ve been doing the most to try and get labour started but no luck. Looks like it isn’t happening anytime soon😭

Do I have a tall baby?

I’m a first time mum to my 7 week old baby boy! At birth he measured 55cm tall and is now measuring at 66cm. He’s growing out of 0-3m due to his length. My health visitor commented on how long he is. I’m struggling to gage how tall other 7 week olds are lol just wondered if he’s tall compared to babies his age? šŸ˜…
