My daughter is in preschool and there is a boy who is consistently hurting her and the other children. He's 4. Despite multiple parents complaining, the nursery just say they do consequences and strategies like putting him in other rooms, if violent, but are refusing to describe what the longer term consequences might be.
It's making her scared to go to nursery every day and she has another year left.
Has anyone had a similar situation and what steps did you take?
I should clarify, this is a private nursery, not attached to a school.

Ask to speak to the manager and have a meeting about how they are going to handle this going forward. It should be easy for the staff to keep the 2 of them separated as much as possible.
My daughter kept on being hit by a child when she was at private nursery. I did the above, it was resolved almost immediately. The other child I suspect had SN, and he moved onto targeting someone else’s child from what I used to overhear waiting in the pick-up line.

It sounds like he has unmet needs which they are struggling to anticipate proactively rather than just responding afterwards. Consequences won't be effective or appropriate if he has SEND. Can you speak to the manager about it and raise concerns formally through the lens of aafeguarding both him and the other children?

You can file a report with licensing and have them investigate there should only be so many allotted times of violence before they're asked to leave. I have worked in facilities with that age group it's extremely hard because unfortunately what directors and managers care about are the money and the enrollments instead of other children safety.

All I see online or from friends is that they can’t put their babies down as they are clingers and constantly want their mums,
My baby is 8 weeks and when I try and comfort him he fusses until I put him down making me feel like I’m not his safe place or he even likes me and it’s making me feel like a useless mess

Anyone have tips for boys on the potty. My Lb is 14m and I’ve been trying to get him to use the potty since about 11m, he hates it and only sat fully clothed but we’re now getting somewhere and he will sit on the toilet but he will always stand and sit on it backwards?
My first was pooping on the toilet only from 1y and I would like the same for him but his poops arent routine he just goes when he goes and he’s yet to even wee on the toilet so just looking to see if boys are any different with toilet training and if there’s any tips to give :)

Hiya ladies, I’m stuck at the moment I don’t know what to do. This morning i took a tumble down the stairs in my flat, gone to a&e and am now on crutches in a lot of pain. Thankfully i didn’t have my little one but still quite a scare as that could have happened.
I now don’t know what to do. My mothers offered for me to stay at hers for a couple of days until I can manage the pain and to help me do little things such as make and sterilise bottles etc. My partner doesn’t want to stay at my mums, but he’s at work and I will be struggling to do everything on my own. What do I do?
