Potty training boys

Anyone have tips for boys on the potty. My Lb is 14m and I’ve been trying to get him to use the potty since about 11m, he hates it and only sat fully clothed but we’re now getting somewhere and he will sit on the toilet but he will always stand and sit on it backwards?

My first was pooping on the toilet only from 1y and I would like the same for him but his poops arent routine he just goes when he goes and he’s yet to even wee on the toilet so just looking to see if boys are any different with toilet training and if there’s any tips to give :)

I can't really comment about boys vs girls as I only have 1, but I've been sitting him on the potty since he was about 7 months is. He has wees and poos on his potty, but also has them in his nappy.

Maybe he just needs a bit more patience to adjust to the potty?

Mine sits on the potty as I would sit on it. Not sure if that helps, but yours could just have a different preference maybe?

I've read that a lot of boys start having preference to stand for a wee as they grow 🤷‍♀️

Sorry I'm not much help 😆

Struggling

All I see online or from friends is that they can’t put their babies down as they are clingers and constantly want their mums,
My baby is 8 weeks and when I try and comfort him he fusses until I put him down making me feel like I’m not his safe place or he even likes me and it’s making me feel like a useless mess

Do you have any help? If so how regularly?

I'm a SAHM with a 20 month old and 9 weeks pregnant. I have no family or village. Hubby works full time so can only help on weekends. My 20 month old still doesn't sleep through so we cosleep from 1am onwards. So I'm always on duty. I've started ro burnout. I want to get some help but have no idea how or where to begin. I live in Australia and a nanny is $60 an hour which is crazy. My kid isn't vaccinated so daycare isn't an option. There is no family daycares in our state legally.

Any ideas or suggestions?

AIBU asking my husband to take one day off work

My husband is quite "high-up" at work and is constantly in important meetings and high pressure situations. However, our 3 month old has caught his first cold and it's been incredibly hard for me. He on the other hand is very calm about the situation, says it's just a cold and that it'll pass.

To give a full picture- I am currently on mat leave, our baby has been very unsettled for the past few days and it's beginning to get to me. I am severely sleep deprived (I try not to wake my husband because he works full time and I breastfeed)

It got to a point where I completely lost it at my husband yesterday because I had asked him whether he could please take one day off work to support me with the baby because I genuinely need a break.

He told me that it's a very busy and important time at work and that it would not be possible for him to take one day.

I am a solicitor myself and I don't agree with him at all. Had the roles been reversed, I would've taken the day off without hesitation.I don't expect him to drop everything every time our baby gets a cold but I am a first time mum and our baby is barely 3 months old. It has been very hard for me to deal with and I am at breaking point.

We don't have support or family nearby and I feel like I have noone to talk to. I just need his support for one day so I can get myself back on track. Am I being unreasonable here? I feel so alone in dealing with this.

Breakfast

Anyone else’s baby not really massively fussed for breakfast? My baby seems to love lunch and dinner and a snack but when it comes to breakfast just picks at it. I normally try and switch up what I give him like porridge, weetabix, yoghurt etc but he just doesn’t seem that hungry for it in the mornings.
I don’t tend to give him breakfast as soon as he wakes up I wait around 45 mins so he has time to wake up properly and get dressed.
