Hi all! We just got back from our 4-month pediatrician appointment, and they mentioned that we can start introducing food! I was a little surprised because I always thought you were supposed to wait until 6 months 😅
have you started solids yet, or are you planning to wait? If you did start around 4 months, how did you begin and what foods did you start with? Any advice or tips would be appreciated! 🥹🤍

I started my second child around four months on baby food
I plan on starting my baby on baby food this month since she turns four months

What I did was, I would do a baby spoon of baby rice or cereal with a baby spoon of mixed formula or breastmilk to soften it up and then a baby spoon or two of the baby food fruit

And then I would also do the baby food by itself as well usually I did that around dinner time

My toddler started at 4 months and I will do same with my almost 4mos old now. Follow their hunger cues, assess their reflux and ability to digest

I plan on starting with veggies and proteins and not introducing any fruits or sugar until later, preferably 1 year. Avocado, egg yolk, beef liver, yogurt, and fiber rich veggies 🙂

We started at 2 1/2 months introducing 1-2 pinches of cereal into every other bottle of milk for him. Now that he is 3 months, we are putting one baby spoonful of baby food at the bottom of his bottles

I have an April baby, I started him a little over 4 months. I just did baby oatmeal at first. Then a few veggie purées.
He’s been eating about a month now so we’re doing mashed foods and some Whole Foods to mouth on.
I would not put anything into bottles unless your doctor tells you to do so. Also remember it’s just for
Fun right now and daily intake of formula should not be impacted.

No advice, just hopping in to say I ALSO thought you couldn’t do solids until 6 months! Yikes, now I have to start planning meals? 🫠
Hello mama’s
I feel bad I haven’t sent my eldest 4 year old to reception. The reason I have done so is, he can’t put on his coat, socks, shoes, or trousers. I help with that and it’s my fault because I find it easier to get done with as I have 2 younger kids.
I don’t want my child to be a burden to the teachers and for them to do a job that’s suppose to be a parents job to teach their kids.
I also came from a family where all my siblings and myself started from year and skipped reception as well as nurseries.
I really want to break that cycle but I’m also scared to send him to school. Any mothers on the same boat and what did you do to deal with situation?
Prior to my eldest, I had 3 miscarriages and I’m scared of loss. I don’t want him to get hurt.

I know this will divide people but I’ve been buying the 4 month old food pouches for my 4 month little boy and giving him a little as he was showing an interest.
Has anyone else done this or any advice or tips and tricks

My 2.9 is being a devil.
Like it's becoming unbearable. Screaming at me, back chating, crying screeching when she doesn't get her way. Never listens. Nursery is also having a hard time with her.
I recently had a baby. How do I manage her behaviour when nothing works. Nothhhhing works.
When is this tantrum phase over....

My first is a girl, she is 4 and is a dream. My son is 3, as the weeks go by he is getting more and more boisterous, high energy, won't listen, lashes out when he's kicking off, throws absolutely everything, destroys pretty much anything he touches. I'm currently pregnant with my second boy..and I'm terrified to be honest. The idea of having two boys, 3 years apart, is really filling me with dread. I wouldn't say I'm a natural boy mum, I've really tried to embrace all the boy things he likes and try to understand boys more so I can do right by him, but I will say it doesn't come naturally to me, I do it because I love him so much.
Has anyone got two boys? What are your experiences? I want to feel better about having two, but I'm open to all experiences!
And if anyone has any advice on how best to bring high energy chaotic boys up, I'm all ears!

Hi looking for some advice!
My 10m old has decided to cut four teeth all at the same time 🙃 she obviously in discomfort & thankfully teething powder are working wonders for her.
However since she started cutting these four she has started biting - thankfully just me & her dad.
We’ve started telling her “no biting” or “no teeth” & give her a toy to bit instead of us which sometimes works.
Is there anything else anyone can suggest for us I would hate for her to bite anyone else at playgroups etc.
