My first is a girl, she is 4 and is a dream. My son is 3, as the weeks go by he is getting more and more boisterous, high energy, won't listen, lashes out when he's kicking off, throws absolutely everything, destroys pretty much anything he touches. I'm currently pregnant with my second boy..and I'm terrified to be honest. The idea of having two boys, 3 years apart, is really filling me with dread. I wouldn't say I'm a natural boy mum, I've really tried to embrace all the boy things he likes and try to understand boys more so I can do right by him, but I will say it doesn't come naturally to me, I do it because I love him so much.
Has anyone got two boys? What are your experiences? I want to feel better about having two, but I'm open to all experiences!
And if anyone has any advice on how best to bring high energy chaotic boys up, I'm all ears!

My first (girl 13) was an angel. I now have 3 boys. 8, 5 and 3months. It is not for the faint heart. Lol but they are so fun to be around. It took some doing for me too. Ull get there. Get ur 3 Yr old in nursery that will give u some down time and hopefully help him burn some energy off. X

I have two boys and they're super sweet! They pretty much listen all the time, although they do have high energy lol. I love to take them to the park or in the backyard and let them run. I also have a large trampoline in their playroom so they can burn energy when we can't go outside and that helps a lot.
My boys love to snuggle up and watch a show, help me bake, go for walks or drives with me, etc. I think every kid is different.
I haven't had any attitude or lashing out and my oldest son is 6 and in kindergarten now. My other son is 3(almost 4) and is mostly nonverbal and autistic. But he's in speech and occupational therapy and he does so great! He can't always communicate but he can answer simple questions and that helps me figure out his needs/wants.
If my sons ever have behavioral issues (not often) I can correct it pretty easily with a simple "No" or "Stop", and of course they have their father and step father who will always support me in parenting so they know not to cross the line, typically.š

oh boy he sounds ready for a sportš i have two boys but they're little. 1½ and newborn. it could change but my older boy is a pretty mellow guy. my youngest brother however was crazy tho, he has sever adHd and has been medicated since kindergarten. my parents put him in free-running and that helped get his energy out

I always wanted boys and got lucky that I got my two boys and no girls (no hate at all, I just really wanted boys lol) and so this is the only parenting I've ever known.
Every time I babysat a girl as a kid it was much harder for me to relate/get along with them. I've never had that problem with boys for some reason.
I'm more of a tomboy myself, I guess. Not into tea parties and I hate pink lol. I love my boys and they're super kind, affectionate, and easy to get along with.
Like I said, I think it all depends on the kid. But it sounds like your kiddo might need help getting his energy out, and might also benefit from some one on one time with you or dad to help regulate him.

I have 2 boys 3 and 15 months and 26 weeks pregnant with a girl. My 3 year old is autistic so its different my 15 month old is very mean to older brother. Lots of high energy with both of them.

I have 4 boys age range 5-18. 2 are very peaceful by nature and 2 are very high energy. They are not into competitive sports, but are into musical instruments, mathematics, STEM activities, reading, archery, and riding bikes on outdoor trails.
What is your son into? We try and get our boys active with activities they are into vs. just signing them up for things.
Feel free to reach out to me.

3 boys, 6, 2 and 4 months! My every day is full of wrestling, fighting, winding eachother up, swearing, answering back. Boys need a lot of space. Getting outside with them is the only time they donāt actually fight. Burning energy doesnāt make them tired but it keeps them occupied whilst theyāre doing it. Our eldest plays rugby and our middle will be going when he turns 3. My youngest is a dream but heās 4 months so i have the 3 boys to come in the future!š¤ just whatever you do, donāt apologise for your boys being boys. Itās chaotic, loud, stressful and every day is different. But itās beautiful and I love it!
I know no different I suppose but I couldnāt see myself as a girl mum nowššš
Hello mamaās
I feel bad I havenāt sent my eldest 4 year old to reception. The reason I have done so is, he canāt put on his coat, socks, shoes, or trousers. I help with that and itās my fault because I find it easier to get done with as I have 2 younger kids.
I donāt want my child to be a burden to the teachers and for them to do a job thatās suppose to be a parents job to teach their kids.
I also came from a family where all my siblings and myself started from year and skipped reception as well as nurseries.
I really want to break that cycle but Iām also scared to send him to school. Any mothers on the same boat and what did you do to deal with situation?
Prior to my eldest, I had 3 miscarriages and Iām scared of loss. I donāt want him to get hurt.

I know this will divide people but Iāve been buying the 4 month old food pouches for my 4 month little boy and giving him a little as he was showing an interest.
Has anyone else done this or any advice or tips and tricks

My 2.9 is being a devil.
Like it's becoming unbearable. Screaming at me, back chating, crying screeching when she doesn't get her way. Never listens. Nursery is also having a hard time with her.
I recently had a baby. How do I manage her behaviour when nothing works. Nothhhhing works.
When is this tantrum phase over....

Hi looking for some advice!
My 10m old has decided to cut four teeth all at the same time š she obviously in discomfort & thankfully teething powder are working wonders for her.
However since she started cutting these four she has started biting - thankfully just me & her dad.
Weāve started telling her āno bitingā or āno teethā & give her a toy to bit instead of us which sometimes works.
Is there anything else anyone can suggest for us I would hate for her to bite anyone else at playgroups etc.

Hi all! We just got back from our 4-month pediatrician appointment, and they mentioned that we can start introducing food! I was a little surprised because I always thought you were supposed to wait until 6 months š
have you started solids yet, or are you planning to wait? If you did start around 4 months, how did you begin and what foods did you start with? Any advice or tips would be appreciated! š„¹š¤
