I know they want us to brush our babies teeth once they start coming in. I head that having milk before sleep can increase risk of cavities in babies. I brush daily but then I give a bottle before bedtime which I feel like is kinda pointless to brush if I'm gonna give the bottle anyway. So I thought maybe I can transition her to have her night time bottle and then bath and brush teeth. But I don't know if she's too young for that. What are your thoughts. She sleeps through the night the night time feeds are not involved in this.

Same boat here 11 months but we’ve been brushing since 9 months. They still need to get used to it whether they drink a bottle or not. With my first at like 13 months she stopped having her night bottle i just took it away I don’t remember how tbh so I think it’s gonna be hard bc mine also falls asleep with a bottle and has 1 bottle in the night like at 4 am or 6 am. Definitely keep brushing the teeth I also thought about bath bottle brush teeth but then I don’t wanna deal with the crying to sleep she already has a hard time napping having to constantly rock her bc she fights and I’m pregnant so it’s hard for me. I’ve just been slowly making less ounces throughout the day 4 instead of 6 and making sure to feed a good meal to keep her full all night. I’ll keep doing that and take the bottle when my wic runs out of formula this month she’ll be 1 !!!! So good luck to us lol

Any amount if brushing is better than none. If baby wakes in the night go ahead and give her a quick clean! Right now the habit is important 😊

I was in the same situation with my 20 month old.
I did what you suggested as well, switched the routine around. I think the sugar in the milk is the concern for cavities. My son has an emotional support sippy cup that is just water in his bed so if he feels the need to have a drink, he has water.
It did take about a week for him to be okay with the shift in routine but it's been great since.

If it's possible, do it and get it out of the way. It can only make it easier for you later. We managed to separate night feeds and bedtime around 8ish months.

Yeah I usually do bath- brush- bottle- sleep. But I don't want cavities cause then it's a whole other issue to deal with. She doesn't like it when I try to brush them and tries to suck on the brush lol. Today I switched the routine and gave the bottle before bathing, she only drank 3oz, instead of 7oz. She fell asleep fine, but I already had a few wakes. So I'll see how this goes, maybe I'll have to brush after bottle after all.

It might take a few nights to get used to. But the sooner the better imo. It's generally good practice to do teeth after bottle so getting that out of the way is good practice. Even better if they can already sleep without feeding.
I will say though that my 3yo still sucks on the toothbrush, and is just now more stubborn about doing it all by herself. It doesn't go away anytime soon. 😂

Weve been brushing since 5mths when his first teeth comes hes 19mths and he still has milk through the night the tooth paste should give a bit of protection.
Hey all, so I’ve not worked in 7 years due to multiple reasons, I left my previous job because I was fleeing DV, then lockdown happened, then I met my husband and had my twins, I feel into a deep depression, was diagnosed with ptsd, adhd, I struggle to get out, struggle with daily life but keep going for my husband and kids but recently ive been feeling I really want to get back into work, im trained as a senior career, working with dementia and end of life, I don’t know where to start anymore, I’ve lost all confidence and it’s been so long that will I get it will I pick up where I left off, who’s going to hire someone who has no confidence, I used to be able to speak to anyone and everyone, now if anyone speaks to me a stutter and panic then don’t know what to say to the simplest of things
Don’t know what I’m looking for, has anyone else had this and overcome it?
Xx

Inspired by a post earlier this week. I am so excited for my little man to crawl all over his new playpen while I cook breakfast without constantly worrying about my big dogs running around next him. I am sleep deprived/ depressed/ and really struggling mentally so if theres something i can use to help my sanity I am all for it. Mornings have been extra hard but I am looking forward to using this tomorrow 😊 highly recommend!! If you feel the need to judge, just move on 😀

Hi mamas, my baby is 12 weeks and hates going on a walk in the pram with the bassinet insert. She’ll sit in there for like 10 minutes before crying and making a big fuss and then I have to hold her all the way home in one hand and pushing the pram in the other which is not very ideal when I’m not near home😅 I’ve tried baby carrying but I really just want her to stay in the pram. Any tips please? Is it just a matter of time thing?

I see so many women on social media claiming to be having sex as soon as the 6 week check is done, and I'm wondering if this is the norm? My libidos has been through the floor for months. 😴
