I see so many women on social media claiming to be having sex as soon as the 6 week check is done, and I'm wondering if this is the norm? My libidos has been through the floor for months. š“

I was about 8 weeks I think. We passed the 6 week mark but neither of us were feeling it, happily just sleeping and content.
Thereās no rush, itās a huge hormonal drop! Itās very normal to have a decreased sex drive, your body is healing, youāre tired and you are now dealing with a baby. I swear itās an evolutionary thing to prioritise keeping baby alive rather than making another š¤£

Almost 9 months in and my libido had died, baby has only just sleeping through the night but still wakes occasionally Iāve been exhausted and honestly itās the last thing on my mind, we have had sex just not often and I know it bothers him itās not that I donāt love him or Iām not attracted to him I am itās just motherhood has consumed me. Think was about the two month mark when we first had sex again 6 weeks I was not ready. I donāt think there is an answer here like everything weāre all so vastly different x

9 weeks for us.
But Iāve seen women on here brag about it only being 2 weeks š¤¢

Almost a year š I struggled with postnatal depression which consumed me. Iāve only just started feeling more myself. My husband has been incredible. Never any pressure and has been by my side throughout everything.

Mine was 5 weeks but not necessarily by choice lol my partner really wanted to and I felt bad so just did it (I regretted it instantly I was just very hormonal and didnāt want to deal with him getting annoyed)
I know a lot of this is down to me spending too much time on social media or obsessing over what my friends managed to do for their babies, so I've started skipping all the baby content now but the damage is done. Baby is due in 3 weeks and I feel like my house is too small/cramped to give my baby everything I had hoped to.
I was hoping to have a nice big cot in our room but there's no space. We'll have to have a bassinet and then a mini cot.
Was hoping to have loads of floor space in our living room for playing, etc but no matter how much I move things around, it's just not enough..
I know the baby won't care, but I grew up in a very small cramped house and I always hoped I would be able to give my children better than what I had.
Been speaking to the perinatal mental health team and they are lovely, but I can't shift this feeling of not being good enough!
Any tips on how to keep myself positive?

Hi mammas
Iām looking for a recommendation for a compact stroller as Iāve really had enough of how bulky the full pram from our Joie travel system is. I really want to get rid of it with all its attachments and just have a stroller now that my LO has outgrown the bassinet. Preferably one with parent facing and world facing ability - any recommendations please? I just want to be able to take the dog and baby out at the same time but canāt currently fit both in the car!
