Night time leaks

Hi mummas, I am honestly at a complete loss. My 9 month old is waking up every single night completely wet through. I have tried everything - Pampers (baby dry, premium protection & pull ups), Rascals & Peachies. I’ve tried different sizes of each brand. I’ve tried no vest. I’ve tried adjusting the way I put on the nappy. I’ve even tried putting on two nappies. Absolutely nothing is working. Has anyone else been in this situation? If so, what did you do please?!

How long are they sleeping at night? And is it a boy or a girl? Just because i know with boys sometimes the positioning is they problem, i have a nearly 8 month old baby girl and i swear by morrisons own (nutmeg) nappies honestly my girl wees for England and no leaks and she can sleep 10 to 11 hours at night. I also work in care and a tip we were given for adult pads which i still use for my daughters nappies is get them out of the packet lay it out flat and twist it (like your ringing out a cloth) for adults this activates the pad to make is more absorbent and its just become habit for nappies too ( I’m not sure if it is actually doing anything but we don’t have leaks so I’m gonna assume it is😂) xx

When we struggled with this what we did was put an extra booster into her reusable nappies, or if we were doing disposable we used a rascals with a motherease nappy wrap over top and a booster between the wrap and the rascal nappy. You can get all this new from the nappy lady https://www.thenappylady.co.uk/ or we got some of it second hand off Facebook marketplace x

Oh and the other thing that helped was we started putting her on the potty before bed and when she woke in the morning x

This was my son for an entire month before we figured it out. Can you identify where the leak site is? That will tell you what the issue is. For my son the leaks are always at the sides above his thigh at the hips. It wasn’t that the diaper is at capacity and leaking, but rather because he moves so much at night, any diapers where the side bands are not wide enough will start bunching up, and that causes pee to escape to the side as he is peeing. Once we identified this we started looking for diapers with extra wide side bands, and landed on Millie Moon. We’ve tried them all and this was the only diaper that had a wide enough side band. It’s been two months now and working great. He still gets the occasional leak maybe twice a month if we didn’t put it on flush and flattened before bed. But no longer the nightly wakes from it.

So try to identify the site of the leak to deduce the cause, and see what you need to do from there.

Gamer husband help

My husband works during the week and I’m on mat leave. I start my LO bedtime routine at 8pm and she needs to be held to sleep (she’s 12 weeks) so basically my bedtime has now become the same as hers. During the week he doesn’t get up at night to help with the baby because of work and he needs his rest but on the weekends he stays up all night playing video games and will complain that he couldn’t sleep.

I feel like if he’s up anyway, he could help with putting her to sleep but since she’s EBF, he will use the excuse that he can’t feed her so he can’t. Is it fair for me to be upset about this?

Edit: will also add that on weekends , he will wake up around 2pm but then will spend a few hours with her and encourages me to do something for myself. But it’s the nights that get me!

Dry nappies overnight – should I worry?

My little one has started waking up with a dry nappy overnight, but then has a big wee after feeding. Is this normal, and do I need to be concerned? Would love to hear from you all.
She has lots of wet nappies through the day and is having plenty of her milk/bottle through the day. She is 5 and a half months old.

Thanks all

Discipline at what age?

My daughter is eight months. She’s been crawling for a month now. Starting to get into things and grabbing things. Starting to throw herself back and cry when she doesn’t get her way. When do I start telling her no and letting her cry it out? Usually I hand her a toy or put on a show she likes. She already kind of listen to me. Example whenever we’re in the living room she crawls towards my cart I have set out for me with her stuff on it, I’ll say her name She’ll turn her around and look at me. I’ll tell her to come here/back and she’ll come. She knows the sign for milk and play so she’s very smart I just don’t know when I should start telling her no and be firm cause I’m not sure she understand that yet. I hope I make sense lol
