Discipline at what age?

My daughter is eight months. She’s been crawling for a month now. Starting to get into things and grabbing things. Starting to throw herself back and cry when she doesn’t get her way. When do I start telling her no and letting her cry it out? Usually I hand her a toy or put on a show she likes. She already kind of listen to me. Example whenever we’re in the living room she crawls towards my cart I have set out for me with her stuff on it, I’ll say her name She’ll turn her around and look at me. I’ll tell her to come here/back and she’ll come. She knows the sign for milk and play so she’s very smart I just don’t know when I should start telling her no and be firm cause I’m not sure she understand that yet. I hope I make sense lol

You're already doing what's appropriate at this age. Say no and redirect, she's paying with the cart say no and hand her something elce she can play with

there’s no reason to change from what you’re doing to just a ‘no’ and letting her ‘cry it out’. you’re doing the right thing, for almost every age of child! setting the boundaries and expectations and then redirecting them. there’s no reason to just say no and ‘discipline’ a child by leaving them to cry when you can do what you’re doing and prevent it from happening. if she does something ‘wrong’ then you let her know calmly and tell her what she can do instead. for example biting, if she bites you you just say no thank you we don’t bite mummy and hand her a teether. you’re teaching her the right thing to do, and giving her an opportunity to learn as opposed to just being told off and learning nothing xx

she is an 8mo baby, everything she is doing is developmental…babies are not manipulative beings, no matter how smart they may seem.
hug her, cuddles, kisses and love on her, teach her no and all the cutesy stuff! she won’t be this little forever! adapt your environment for her, ensure there’s less things for her to get into that she shouldn’t be, she’s just being a baby that’s learnt to crawl and stuff. we got to make the environment suitable for the little ones. get some crash mats, that interlock, keep hot things pushed back so she can’t pull them down, put locks on cupboards and pantry’s, a little ball pit with a few balls to keep her occupied, like a mini soft play set x

Gamer husband help

My husband works during the week and I’m on mat leave. I start my LO bedtime routine at 8pm and she needs to be held to sleep (she’s 12 weeks) so basically my bedtime has now become the same as hers. During the week he doesn’t get up at night to help with the baby because of work and he needs his rest but on the weekends he stays up all night playing video games and will complain that he couldn’t sleep.

I feel like if he’s up anyway, he could help with putting her to sleep but since she’s EBF, he will use the excuse that he can’t feed her so he can’t. Is it fair for me to be upset about this?

Edit: will also add that on weekends , he will wake up around 2pm but then will spend a few hours with her and encourages me to do something for myself. But it’s the nights that get me!

Dry nappies overnight – should I worry?

My little one has started waking up with a dry nappy overnight, but then has a big wee after feeding. Is this normal, and do I need to be concerned? Would love to hear from you all.
She has lots of wet nappies through the day and is having plenty of her milk/bottle through the day. She is 5 and a half months old.

Thanks all

Night time leaks

Hi mummas, I am honestly at a complete loss. My 9 month old is waking up every single night completely wet through. I have tried everything - Pampers (baby dry, premium protection & pull ups), Rascals & Peachies. I’ve tried different sizes of each brand. I’ve tried no vest. I’ve tried adjusting the way I put on the nappy. I’ve even tried putting on two nappies. Absolutely nothing is working. Has anyone else been in this situation? If so, what did you do please?!
