Blood in poo

Anyone had streaks of blood in their baby’s poo?

My LO had two nappies in the evening last night with blood in it. I took her into hospital after phoning NHS24 for advice and they’ve took stool samples. They didn’t really seem concerned.

Anyone else experienced this? What did it turn out to be?

My niece had this and it turned out she was dairy intolerant.

My eldest had more then streaks but normally blood in stool means cmpa, the stool sample just rules out infection though. Can I ask have they started her temporarily on cmpa formula as thats what they did with my eldest till the results came back x

We had this with our first and it was CMPA. It only stopped when I cut dairy out of my diet

First time labour!

Hey guys, I’m due on the 20th and have seen lots of people say they don’t want inductions, sweeps etc, is there any reason for this? I’d love to know different opinions as I’m so open to anything, thank you 🫶🏻

Induced?

I went into triage today after having reduced movements after my sweep yesterday. They have offered for me to be induced tomorrow morning. They said my waters are bulging and that i am already 4cm dilated. But not in active labour.
They said they were gonna break my waters and try the balloon. I had a previous c section before and was really hoping for a VBAC this time: does anyone have any words of wisdom? Am i making the right choice in being induced?

20 Week Scan

Had my 20 week Scan today. They couldn’t get a proper view of baby’s heart so asked us to return next week, everything else looked fine. And I also have a low lying placenta. Anyone else have this?

Tell me what it’s like

I’ve had one emergency c section and I was under a general anaesthetic so I don’t really know what it’s like. I also didn’t really have any issues with recovery other than lots of bleeding for way too long. I’m planning to have another one with next baby but I don’t really know what I’m in for. Can you tell me all your experiences, how did it go, good and bad! I want to have my eyes open!

C-section date

37 weeks pregnant and still waiting for my date. Seems very common not to get the date until the week before the actual op but I’m getting fed up not knowing😩 Anyone else feel the same!?😬
