My little boy also born on the 19th December, I've got an indoor climbing frame for Christmas as hes been walking for around 1month, also going to look at getting some foam mats to go underneath, some additional toys as I find he's not interested in his current toys

My little one is 20th December and we're doing a main present for birthday and one for christmas and then a few little presents for each. For his birthday, we're buying him a trike and for Christmas we're getting him a Toot Toot garage. Then we're just getting a few toys, books, clothes and splitting them between both days 😊

My little boy is 15th December. We're planning on 12month ideal stuff for his birthday and 18 months for Christmas. For my little girls 1st birthday we got her a leap frog tea set. She still plays with it now (she's 2). Honestly can't remember much else we got for her 😅 she's an April baby so it's slightly easier to do the age appropriate stuff for birthday and slightly older stuff for Christmas. My little boy loves Winnie the Pooh so we're themeing his birthday and birthday presents around that

Im struggling to figure what to get. I have no idea what to get them all
My daughter was 4 weeks early so was born in november (was due the 6th December). I have her 1st then 5 weeks later my eldest will be turning 4 and then 2 weeks after we have christmas.
We soo much already and none need any new clothes either so im really am stuck 🤦♀️😂

I’ve gotten my little on a tonies box

Trunkie

my sons 1st is the 11th. i’ve managed to get all his stuff already, i’ve mainly focused on educational toys and vibrant colours. i’ve also bought him a car he can sit in with a remote control so i can control it, a balance bike and some bluey and mickey mouse toys as they are his favourite. i’ve not gone all out toys wise as im planning a day out instead as thats what he’d prefer
I have tried thinking of everything was gonna do cleaning as its flexable but I have health conditions that I think it will effect me physically as its a tough job.
My ideal job would be a flexable work from gome I have been searching for 18 months and absolutely NOTHING :( i dont even mind hybrid or office just something flexible thag would allow me to pick my chilsren up from school or take a day off when shes ill ect..
Any ideas?!

Honestly, I’m getting really frustrated with this app 😭 Is anyone else experiencing this?
I’ve matched/talked with a couple moms who say they’re looking for mom friends, but then as soon as we actually start texting, the conversation is SO dry. 😭 I’m genuinely putting in effort to keep the conversation going, asking questions, trying to get to know them, and sometimes it literally feels like I’m draining them just by trying to have a conversation.
And then on top of that, I’ve dealt with feeling judged for having my son in sports. Like… he LOVES being active, he enjoys the sports he’s in, and I’m just trying to keep him busy and give him things he enjoys. I don’t understand why that would be something another mom would judge me for.
I’m literally just on here because I want genuine mom friends. I’m a very friendly person, I love talking, getting to know people, doing things with our kids, having playdates, grabbing Starbucks, whatever. 🥲
It honestly makes me wonder if I should just delete the app because I’m not here to feel judged or like I have to beg someone to have a conversation with me.
Is anyone else dealing with this?? 😭

Anyone else got really rubbish maternity pay?
I get 6 weeks at 90% then the rest is statutory which barely covers bills!
I want to take atleast 8/9 months just to be with baby but it’s daunting with the lack of income.
Anyone got any money making/saving ideas?

This is new for me to try and meet friends, so I’m hopeful to connect with someone who also feels like they need a community. I’m due late December, and I don’t know any other moms to talk to about pregnancy and baby around the corner. I just moved to Oregon from Maine because of my husbands military career, so it’s a bit lonely being somewhere where I know nobody. It’s also the first time in my life Im not working full-time.
