How do people manage through the day with a baby who will NOT under any circumstance let you put them down for just one second. When she is being held she is silent/content/asleep but the literal second I try put her down on any surface she goes absolutely mental screaming and crying.
My baby literally does not sleep through the day - I’ve seen other posts saying similar but wow😵💫 Exhausting.

It’s so exhausting I imagine, they go through a phase,I would suggest using a baby carrier so your hands are free ,you got this x

Will she fall asleep if you walk in the pram? Sling/baby carrier?
Now and again if mine is in a very deep sleep I can swaddle him and put him in the moses basket for about half an hour!

Babywearing, learning how to backcarry with a woven wrap, keeping books and podcasts handy when you’re nap trapped etc

My baby is the exact same - 5 weeks tomorrow and doesn’t last a second when I put him down and sleeps only when on me/ husband! Hoping it eventually gets better!

Use a baby wrap or carrier! x

We have a 5 week old and shes also at this stage! 9/10 mine settles in the bassinet when walking and I leave her in when I get back home, I then get a good 30 minutes before she stirs. Also the same if I go out in the car and get back home, just leave her an extra 30 minutes in the car seat! Im hoping this stage doesnt last too long 😅 hope you're both doing well xx

Baby wearing.
Hi guyss I’m in need of help PLEASE! I am a POC and before getting pregnant I had BPD ( borderline personality disorder), anxiety and major depressive disorder, ptsd and ocd. I am 27 weeks pregnant and my prenatal depression has been horrible. I’ve been crying so much and physically feeling like I’m losing myself . I have a therapist, I told my OB everything. I finally decided to take that step and get back (previous times 2019 & 2022) on meds. But now I see all of these things like it can hurt my baby. Please someone help I need to know is my baby gonna be okay. I only took half a pill. Is there any POC that can send some advice please. ( nothing against anyone but our brains are wired differently and doctors treat us differently as well) .

Just want peoples opinions. So today I was in a children’s charity shop with my 6 month old and she was asleep in her pushchair. A boy who looked maybe 8-10 years old came over to us and patted her gently over her blanket. I was a bit taken back and then he went away and came back 10 mins later and asked me “what did I just do to your baby?” And I replied “you stroked her” then I asked him if he was with his mum or dad and he said no he’s with his tutor. I could see the man on the other aisle. I felt uncomfortable and just walked away with my pushchair. She stayed asleep the whole time. Am I being really silly in feeling scared at the time? Maybe it’s my anxiety after my baby was born as she nearly died or maybe it’s just normal that I was scared? I feel bad as I don’t know if he was special needs? It seemed like it but I just felt strange about it all

Any advice/tips on weeing after birth? I had my baby girl yesterday and I’ve got a second degree tear, very close to third degree. I’m in so much pain with going to the toilet. I’ve got a peri bottle and spritz for bits for after but has anyone got any other recommendations that helps the stinging? I’m drinking lots of water to make sure my urine isn’t concentrated too

Has anyone else experienced a really clingy phase around this age? 🥹
Recently, after breastfeeding, he’ll fall asleep on me only for him to instantly wake up and cry when I put him down. He also suddenly wants to be held pretty much all the time, and if I leave the room or he can’t see me, he’ll cry — then as soon as I come back into view, he’s happy again 😂
I’m sure it’s all completely normal, but has anyone else experienced this? Any tips or advice would be really appreciated! ❤️

Need a bit of advice as I’m a bit unsure.
I don’t have a car, nor do I even have a license so driving to the hospital and back home is not an option.
We’ll get an Uber to the hospital but how would you get the baby back?
We’re considering uber back too, but then would need a car seat and I feel maybe it’s a lot of money to spend on a car seat when we don’t have a car nor the ability to drive😅
We don’t have anyone in the area with kids who we could borrow a car seat from, nor anyone near us who even has a car.
We’re in London
What would you do?
