We are almost 3 weeks PP but does anyone else's little one sleep so well in the day and then night decide 1am - 5am is party time. I know i need to try and switch his night and day but not sure how else to do it when we are keeping sun on him during the day and then turning down the light in the evening/bedtime..

Exactly the same!!
Our little boy will sleep from 10’ish until 1-2 but once he’s awake, that is it for the night unless I bring him into our bed to co sleep 😮💨

Oh yes, we're 4 weeks pp and my LO is the exact same...she feeds at 1, 4 and 7 usually but the last few nights she's been stirring after her feed at 4 we've been putting her in the bed with us and she sleeps right through, it was till 10 this morning. We have a lamp on the floor on one side of the room and she's in her next to me on the other side of the room.

Takes them up to 3 months to stop being night owls. Witching hour is not a fun time

Very normal lol.. to help them with this keep night times dark, lights off, quiet and little interaction (talking etc but still plenty of cuddles)
During the day, bright, noisy, different area for a naps, or sleeping on the go x

We are currently dealing with this. But my LO only sleeps on us she refuses to go down in moses basket or next to me crib. She normally sleeps in a sleep pod on the bed but even then sometimes I have to sleep with her cuddled in my arms for her to sleep more then an hour.

Oh boy we're in the middle of this! It's a killer. She sleeps so well during the day, happily sleeps in the moses basket too no issues, but come night time she's having none of it!
We're now trying more feeds during the day, I heard it can make night times better with less wakes.....but we'll see, first day trying it 😅

We are exactly the same its so hard

Glad its not just me in the nighttime trenches 🫣 I am also not napping in the day time so feel like I am running on empty most days!

We’re in the middle of this too. It’s very normal. I always have to remind myself that it’s all a phase. Some phases are just longer than others. 😝

If you are breastfeeding then they’re also literally programmed to want to cluster feed in the early hours of the morning because that’s when mums prolactin levels are highest and they can boost future milk supply as much as possible.

I’m 4 weeks PP today and I feel you!! My baby does not settle in the evenings but is like an angel in the day! 😅 x
Hi guyss I’m in need of help PLEASE! I am a POC and before getting pregnant I had BPD ( borderline personality disorder), anxiety and major depressive disorder, ptsd and ocd. I am 27 weeks pregnant and my prenatal depression has been horrible. I’ve been crying so much and physically feeling like I’m losing myself . I have a therapist, I told my OB everything. I finally decided to take that step and get back (previous times 2019 & 2022) on meds. But now I see all of these things like it can hurt my baby. Please someone help I need to know is my baby gonna be okay. I only took half a pill. Is there any POC that can send some advice please. ( nothing against anyone but our brains are wired differently and doctors treat us differently as well) .

Just want peoples opinions. So today I was in a children’s charity shop with my 6 month old and she was asleep in her pushchair. A boy who looked maybe 8-10 years old came over to us and patted her gently over her blanket. I was a bit taken back and then he went away and came back 10 mins later and asked me “what did I just do to your baby?” And I replied “you stroked her” then I asked him if he was with his mum or dad and he said no he’s with his tutor. I could see the man on the other aisle. I felt uncomfortable and just walked away with my pushchair. She stayed asleep the whole time. Am I being really silly in feeling scared at the time? Maybe it’s my anxiety after my baby was born as she nearly died or maybe it’s just normal that I was scared? I feel bad as I don’t know if he was special needs? It seemed like it but I just felt strange about it all

Any advice/tips on weeing after birth? I had my baby girl yesterday and I’ve got a second degree tear, very close to third degree. I’m in so much pain with going to the toilet. I’ve got a peri bottle and spritz for bits for after but has anyone got any other recommendations that helps the stinging? I’m drinking lots of water to make sure my urine isn’t concentrated too

How do people manage through the day with a baby who will NOT under any circumstance let you put them down for just one second. When she is being held she is silent/content/asleep but the literal second I try put her down on any surface she goes absolutely mental screaming and crying.
My baby literally does not sleep through the day - I’ve seen other posts saying similar but wow😵💫 Exhausting.

Has anyone else experienced a really clingy phase around this age? 🥹
Recently, after breastfeeding, he’ll fall asleep on me only for him to instantly wake up and cry when I put him down. He also suddenly wants to be held pretty much all the time, and if I leave the room or he can’t see me, he’ll cry — then as soon as I come back into view, he’s happy again 😂
I’m sure it’s all completely normal, but has anyone else experienced this? Any tips or advice would be really appreciated! ❤️

Need a bit of advice as I’m a bit unsure.
I don’t have a car, nor do I even have a license so driving to the hospital and back home is not an option.
We’ll get an Uber to the hospital but how would you get the baby back?
We’re considering uber back too, but then would need a car seat and I feel maybe it’s a lot of money to spend on a car seat when we don’t have a car nor the ability to drive😅
We don’t have anyone in the area with kids who we could borrow a car seat from, nor anyone near us who even has a car.
We’re in London
What would you do?
