We were under the feeding clinic due to jaundice but their recommendation at that point was to do top ups to start with so I would breastfeed then give a small bottle of formula if he still wanted more. This worked from 2days old - however you are more established breastfeeding so I think around that age I began replacing a feed with a bottle. I chose to pump during that feed for a while to slowly build a freezer stash. So there are a couple of options depending on how you want to do it- equally you can always seek advice from your local feeding team as well

What makes you think the baby isn’t getting enough from the breast?

Why do you think he's not getting enough milk?

Is baby having plenty of wet nappies, gaining weight and generally happy. If so they are getting enough.
Introducing formula would impact your supply.
How many words does your 18mo have? We've got about 6/7 and have been told by nursery and the health visitor thats the lower end/slightly behind. She understands very well, but rarely uses the words she knows and was a late babbler.
Just wondering if anyone else had been through the same with any advice to help her speech?

WHEN DOES THE WHINING STOP?!? I am so fed up with it. I’ve had a headache for the last 19 days because my son (17m) whines about EVERY. SINGLE. THING. And screams all the freaking time.

Hii
My son is 2023 feb born
He is going to the preschool since 2 years never had a problem
Since two weeks they were told he is been physically one day
And later they told me today he is again being physical i then asked what exactly is happening then the member of staff told me he wants kids to play with him so he is pushing them to play
Then i came home and spoke with the manager and she said the same
Is this behaviour normal are need attention
He plays with the kids in the community but never seen him pushing
He is very good in communication,
Expressing himself and understanding
What should i do to avoid this ?
He never does anything as such in front of us

Looking for some advice, my nearly 5 week old baby will suck on a dummy for around 1-2 mins then spits it out and start fussing again that he wants it, sometimes he will even wake up from a nap for it. This will continue until he falls into a deep sleep and eventually when the dummy falls out he won’t wake back up . He will also settle without a dummy so does he maybe just not want it or are the dummies too big for his mouth I’m not sure 😩 we have tried the mam newborn orthodontic ones and the tommee tippee 0-2 month (the teat on these are a lot bigger). He is also formula fed, has anyone else been through this if so all advice welcome 🙏🏻
