Preparing toddler to emigrate

Hello
We are emigrating to Australia this month. My toddler is super close to her family (who shall remain in the UK). Does anyone have any tips to help us prepare her for this?
Thank you

Luckily FaceTime is the best thing ever!! Or you can also have your family film themselves reading books or record them reading books for your toddler and you can always play it for them. Time difference can be thought so having those videos and recordings is always nice 🙂

Following cause we leave too in November.

I think my almost 2 year old will be fine but I’ve noticed our 4 year old sees to be playing up, regressing a bit and acting out. I thought it was the cases and boxes but I think she really needed to go to school but what was the point for 2 months?

Aiming to FaceTime a lot. Our family are in Australia so they call at night for morning talks here, we still have had plenty of time to talk together despite the time difference.

Do you have a Yoto? You could record family reading her books and she might like that!

6 year old says he hates me

I was putting my son to bed after a nice day together, and he just came out with it. 10 minutes prior he said ‘ I love you mummy’ then he said ‘I hate you but you’re part of my family’ 🫠 His little sister gets a lot of my attention and my patience isn’t where it used to be, but this has just really thrown me!!! He’s a daddies boy and maybe our connection has slipped a little because of our daughter. Any advice?

Being cheated on for like the 8 million time

Why is it so easy for him to cheat? Why does he do it? What do I do that is so difficult for him to love me and our almost 3 month old daughter? All I know is I need to break the cycle I’m done! I rather be a single mom and struggle than deal with this all over! My self esteem is gone! Self respect in myself gone I continues forgive and forgive and forgive just to be cheated on again I just want a good man that is loyal 🙄😟😞done

Why do I get SO overwhelmed when my toddler is smothering me?

Most moms can deal with their toddlers 24/7... i CAN NOT. I wonder why that is. I need a break every night

Feeding

I’m a first time mum with minimal support my baby is 3 months old and I’ve googled about weaning readiness signs and she is showing a few (obviously going to wait until fully safe) however advice online is so contradicting saying it’s fine to give purées mixed with breast milk fully blended with no lumps at 4 months and others saying not to do anything until 6 months. I’m so confused. Some mums have said their baby had baby rice at just over two months old (which I don’t agree with) others have said they tried tasters at 4 months. I just don’t know what advice to follow. I know NHS say 6 months but if the readiness is there do I look into doing tasters? Who’s best to ask the health visitor or doctor? Help please

Bills

Hey everyone so I just wanted a bit of a rant really and see what you guys think. Me and my partner are buying a house and we are butting heads about different things (making me question it now tbh). Anyway we were discussing bills and my partner has said that we should be 50/50 he earns more than me and by the time everything has come out I’m left with £100 I mean he earns more how is that fair, we also have 2 children. I said he would have to help with food etc and said well I can’t get it all and you would have to help too like how with £100 left. I’m really questioning how this is going to work and questioning my relationship he was so nasty yesterday
