My first baby is due early next year. I am excited but have these waves of anxiety worrying about how much life is going to change. What if I hate the change? What if I hate being a mom? What if I am u intentionally a bad mom? I was raised in a loving family and my mom was the best! My mom sadly passed away when I was 19 from cancer and I have missed her terribly since. My MIL is excited about becoming a grandma but she is a bit of a wild card and we have never had a close relationship so I don’t have that mother role model in my life.
I am sure I will love my baby but there are so many moms out there that are not good to their kids and should never have had a baby. I want to be what my mom was to me but those are big shoes to fill and what if I fail? What if…..

One of the most helpful pieces of advice I've found, is not to try and be a "perfect" parent because you will fail. Perfect parents don't exist, and kids don't need perfection. You are going to get some things wrong. They are resilient, and they will survive. What kids need is presence - for you go show up and TRY every day, to be there with them in the moment. Everything else can come secondary or not at all.

You will be amazing mama! My mom passed away when I was 25, had my daughter when I was about to be 35. It made me miss her so much! But but she’s watching over me and my little girl. But really, I never held a baby before and after I got to my room from my C-section they handed her to me and I was like uhhh now what? My husband was beyond amazing. I don’t think I changed a diaper for the first few weeks bc I was so scared of hurting her. She’ll be 2 in December and yes sometimes I miss my old life but having her has changed me in ways i didnt know I needed to change! Message if you need to!
We found our baby is a baby girl this weekend.. I have been convinced she was a girl the entire pregnancy so it wasn’t a shock at all but just hearing it officially… of course I love her and I’m not evil, it’s just a lot to adjust and I am feeling really stressed and a bit sad really. I feel guilty that I’m not as excited as I should be and currently don’t want people to know because I’m not ready to be super happy about it yet.
I have always pictured my life with a son one day and, for very personal reasons and life experiences, I feel a lot of stress when thinking about protecting and raising a baby girl in this world which I’m sure people can relate…
I am worried about protecting her, I am worried about not feeling the same bond from her as a son, amongst a multitude of other things. I am not feeling excited to buy frilly dresses or go to dance classes and I know it will all settle and logically I won’t imagine life without her and I do love her, it’s just overwhelming me..
Any advice… 🌸

Adding to all this penis talk lol
Don’t ask me how this came up but my husband was sharing his crazy patient surgery stories and randomly tells me about “the biggest penis he’s ever seen”. Reasonably I burst out laughing because those are words I never expected him to ever say 😅.
Anyways he goes on to tell me how before the surgery he meets with this patient, who goes on to tell him about STI’s and STD’s gotten due to his extensive sexual history.
My husband says when he was on the table it all clicked and he understood why this guy had so many girlfriends 😂🤣 he compared it to a footlong and is very clinical in general so I truly believe him.
All this to say I’m flabbergasted a penis that big even exists and I now need to know if anyone has had large penis run-ins with past partners?!

Hi mamas!!
I’m currently looking for cars as i go back to work in a few months.
I don’t want a huge car as i hate driving them but want a decent sized one to be able to fit all my baby’s things - ie car seat with isofix and pram.
I only have 1 child but need something reliable.
Could you give me any suggestions? x
