I would definitely get a speech therapist, but especially if you think he is autistic, I would try multi model communication, if you look it up it puts less pressure on words and more on reading his body language. I also started my kiddo on basic baby sign language and it works wonders. Start with 1-3 basic words in ASL “more” “want” “potty” whatever you think he will pick up. And it skyrockets from there

Narrate everything all the time, whatever you're doing, touching, playing with, passing him, say what it is, what colour it is.

I will scream from the roof for all peoples kids who arent saying anything before 2 yrs. 100% ask for a early intervention referral from the pediatrician. My son was only saying 2-4 words by the time he was 2. He has been in speech therapy since he was 18 months old and now hes 3.5 yrs old. He is finally starting to talk in full sentences and not 1-2 word replies. I also know someone from my old job who's son is turning 3 this month and they refuse to put their son in speech until hes 4 and he only knows how to grunt for what he wants he doesnt even say any words and you can already tell hes super behind compared to a talking 3 yr old.

If it’s any consolation my niece (only child) couldn’t speak properly or many word literally till the day she turned 5. The minute she turned 5 she started saying coherent sentences. My sister tried speech therapy but for the most part had faith in time xx

My son didnt talk until he was like 3. I put him in speech therapy and the lady just pushed him to talk "you need to talk." So we never went back after that. I always said if he doesnt want to talk, I wont make him. He will when hes ready. Now he never stops talking and hes almost 7. I thought he was autistic as well, but now hes really doing awesome. He had a speech delay and receptive language disorder. He doesnt see anyone. I homeschool him and work with him. Hes honestly learned more from me than anyone else

Definitely ask to switch health visitors, my sons 10 months old and my health visitor has already noticed and agreed with me that there is definitely autism traits that hes showing. Not surprising as there is autism and adhd on both sides of the family however id definitely speak to a doctor if your really concerned and try to get a referral through them!!

Struggling with gender..

We found our baby is a baby girl this weekend.. I have been convinced she was a girl the entire pregnancy so it wasn’t a shock at all but just hearing it officially… of course I love her and I’m not evil, it’s just a lot to adjust and I am feeling really stressed and a bit sad really. I feel guilty that I’m not as excited as I should be and currently don’t want people to know because I’m not ready to be super happy about it yet.

I have always pictured my life with a son one day and, for very personal reasons and life experiences, I feel a lot of stress when thinking about protecting and raising a baby girl in this world which I’m sure people can relate…

I am worried about protecting her, I am worried about not feeling the same bond from her as a son, amongst a multitude of other things. I am not feeling excited to buy frilly dresses or go to dance classes and I know it will all settle and logically I won’t imagine life without her and I do love her, it’s just overwhelming me..

Any advice… 🌸

Footlong Penis🍆😮

Adding to all this penis talk lol
Don’t ask me how this came up but my husband was sharing his crazy patient surgery stories and randomly tells me about “the biggest penis he’s ever seen”. Reasonably I burst out laughing because those are words I never expected him to ever say 😅.
Anyways he goes on to tell me how before the surgery he meets with this patient, who goes on to tell him about STI’s and STD’s gotten due to his extensive sexual history.
My husband says when he was on the table it all clicked and he understood why this guy had so many girlfriends 😂🤣 he compared it to a footlong and is very clinical in general so I truly believe him.
All this to say I’m flabbergasted a penis that big even exists and I now need to know if anyone has had large penis run-ins with past partners?!

Anyone else’s baby still feeding every 2 hours?

My girl is 10 weeks today and still wants feeding mostly every 2 hours, sometimes every 90 minutes. At night she typically goes 5-6 hours. She is having 4oz feeds and formula fed. I had it in my head she should be going 3-4 hours or even starting to show some kind of pattern by now. I feel like feeding 4oz every 2 hours means she’s being over fed. Is anyone going through similar?

I hate being a mum sometimes.

Is this a normal feeling? I have 2 girls, one 13months and one 26 months so very close in age, I feel like since I've been back at work (I only work 2 days a week anyway) but she's CONSTANTLY attached to me, my leg, climbing on me, headbutting me and I find it SO overwhelming all the time, my toddler just cries all the time, at anything and I find myself feeling very anxious and overstimulated all the time to the point where I just don't think I'm enjoying it most days. Don't get me wrong, there's some lovely parts, but I just feel awful.
