My girl is 10 weeks today and still wants feeding mostly every 2 hours, sometimes every 90 minutes. At night she typically goes 5-6 hours. She is having 4oz feeds and formula fed. I had it in my head she should be going 3-4 hours or even starting to show some kind of pattern by now. I feel like feeding 4oz every 2 hours means she’s being over fed. Is anyone going through similar?

Have you tried increasing teat size if bottle fed? Made a huge difference for me x

We dropped the bottle and formula at 12 months. How much food is she eating during the day?

My little girl is 9 weeks tmrw and drinking 5-6oz every 3.5-4hrs during the day and then going 6-7hr stretches at night, maybe try and give her 5oz and see how she gets on?

She might be getting the calories in during the day so she’s able to go longer stretches at night, my daughter is also 10 weeks today🥰

Yes similar situation here, my son is 9 and a half weeks and wakes up every 1-3 hours at night for a feed (approximately 120-140 ML at a time). He’s EBF and eats 1000-1300 ml a day, I’m a good supplier, but I’m barely pumping enough milk a day and it’s really stressing me out.
My midwife said it’s difficult to overfeed a baby so I wouldn’t stress too much about that if she’s giving hunger cues and isn’t spitting up a lot of milk.
Sometimes I think my son just wants comfort so I try to offer a dummy first to help.

Same here! My little one is 10 weeks today on Kendamil and drinking 3-4 ounces (more 3oz today) every 2 hours! It’s exhausting 😂 However has been sleeping for 5-7 hours in his first stretch x
I’m looking for recommendations on a baby sling instead of a carrier or wrap, I’ve got both which my baby loves especially when it comes to nap time but it’s a mission getting on and off and she is getting heavier. I just want something quick and easy and didn’t know these even existed! She will be 2 months so not much neck control yet but is 12lbs 14oz, so conscious it needs to be decent for proper support.
Any mums have a sling that they’ve used from this age by any chance that they’ve loved?

We found our baby is a baby girl this weekend.. I have been convinced she was a girl the entire pregnancy so it wasn’t a shock at all but just hearing it officially… of course I love her and I’m not evil, it’s just a lot to adjust and I am feeling really stressed and a bit sad really. I feel guilty that I’m not as excited as I should be and currently don’t want people to know because I’m not ready to be super happy about it yet.
I have always pictured my life with a son one day and, for very personal reasons and life experiences, I feel a lot of stress when thinking about protecting and raising a baby girl in this world which I’m sure people can relate…
I am worried about protecting her, I am worried about not feeling the same bond from her as a son, amongst a multitude of other things. I am not feeling excited to buy frilly dresses or go to dance classes and I know it will all settle and logically I won’t imagine life without her and I do love her, it’s just overwhelming me..
Any advice… 🌸

Guys I’m struggling! I know all babies develop at different rates but should I be concerned? My boy is 15 months and is some ways he’s smashing it and in other ways he seems very behind! He can count to 10, started doing his abcs and can say alot of words, but he can’t say mama and Dosent use dada meaningfully, he can’t clap or wave but can walk, point and has started feeding himself, he can tell me
What noises alot of animals make and what they are but he 9 times out of 10 dosent answer to his name, but he will bring me books and toys and sit and read and play with me and struggles ALOT with food, it’s a struggle to get food in him most days but other days! At what point should I be worried!

When should I get worried that my son is showing little interest in crawling? He’s 8 months old? He’s great and sitting and has just started spinning when he sits but will refuse to go on his tummy.
